Jewelry Shop at DLH

The last time we stayed at DLH, there was a jewelery shop attached to the arcade in the courtyard. I am doing a solo trip and wanted to purchase something for my wife. Is it still open with the construction? Is there an alternate location?

Don't. Know about the DLH store but they do have some jewelry at both World of Disney in Downtown Disney as well as nice watches at the store on Main Street (just before the ice cream store). Your wife is lucky not only are you bringing her jewelry you're asking for directions about where to get it!

There's also an estate jewelry store in the New Orleans Square area of DL.

She loves Disney as much as I do.
Since my business trip makes me miss Mother's Day (8th), Fundraising performance for my son's choir where he is singing with the choir and a Duet(8th evening), Musical theater competition(8th afternoon), Choral solo night(9th) and the first regular season flag football game (11th)and I still had the nerve to tack on the 12-15th at Disney (Son has a vocal exam on the 14th so they can not join me) I think I need to come home with some surprises (peace offerings).

I agree with Jenpace - Check out the estate jewlery store in New Orleans Square. They have amazing pieces in there; if you are lucky you will come home with something exquisite and unique (I also agree with the thoughtful husband thing - grin)

as of last week all the stores on Main street are open, it's just the outside being worked on, Lucky wife by the way

It isn't there anymore--along with the waterfalls and arcade--it was all torn down to make room for the new pool area and restaurants that will be coming in 2012.

Thank you for your ideas and comments. That store had the best selection and prices that we had seen for jewelery and other glass knick nacks. Sad to see it gone.

So sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but both of the mentioned locations (jewlery store in NOS, and the one by the hotel) are closed. However, you have several other choices. On Main Street in DL there is a jewlery store next to the Emporium. In DTD jewlery is available in the World of Disney Store as well as a jewlery store that only sells silver jewlery.
