Jets trainer trips Miami player!

Looks like this guy put more thought into this than we thought. Maybe he should lose his career in sports. Man, I hate it when I am wrong. :headache: ;)

I bet it wasn't just him though..... I bet he's gonna take the fall for the higher ups.

Im a Dolphin fan and season ticket holder, I can tell you Miami folks aren't bothered by any of this just incredibly amused by the "running around" of the Jets personnel.. The backtracking , contradiction, and throwing each other under the bus, is just plain funny at times.

I also bet it wasn't just him. I am sure Ryan had some part in it.

I still stand behind my original statement. His punishment should be:

#1 - Fired
#2 - Fined by the league
#3 - Banned from ever working for any team in the NFL.

And if Ryan had anything - ANYTHING - to do with this, he get the same treatment.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Absolutely the feeling around here too.

And you just knew that somehow this would be the Pats fault!! REALLY !!

seems a bit harsh to me

Technically, Sal still has only broken one rule. Lining the coaches up on the side-line is not in violation of any NFL rule if you stay in the coaches defined area, and they were in that area. It just makes his initial transgression seem more premeditated. So, I agree about firing him and fining him (and the Jets). Not sure that it would be legal to ban him from the NFL, or that I would support such a move. If Vick can come back, this guy can, too.

As for Ryan, since lining them up on the sidelines like that doesn't break any NFL rules, it is a non-issue. You can't fine or fire him for doing something that is within the rules. There is no way that he could anticipate one of his coaches making such a stupid decision during a play.

A few teams do this with fair regularity (line up like this on kicks), and we now know that the Jets have been doing it all season. I just wonder, was it the speacial teams coach's idea, or Sal's. I find it hard to believe that a strength and conditioning coach would have thought of it.

But I am a football fan, and this is so minor that it barely registers on my "give a hoot" meter.

You and others keep saying this is "no big deal" but the Jets came out and said because of the "human wall" Alosi has been suspended indefinitely..... sounds like it's a big deal to somebody.

It will never be a big deal to me, even if President Obama says that it is to him. I played football. This is nothing.
