Being I HATE to fly out of fear, my dh says Jetblue out of JFK is the way to go. Does anyone have any experience flying JetBlue. Can you let me know everything I need to know to make this trip. Thanks.

Jetblue out of jfk is great. Flew twice last year. PLane is full ,left on time and arrived early. With the tv's at every seat get there before you know it. Flew with wife 7 and 3 year old.

and flying JetBlue...my brother did it last year and said it was awesome...all new planes, leather seats for everyone and DirectTV on every seat. My boss uses JB too, says it's great... if their flights are anything like booking tickets with them, I'll be doing this more often too. You book, pay and pick your seats all online...super cheap prices too.$65-70 each way.

I flew them for the first time last Dec. I LOVED them. When flying out of JFK they have a JetBlue Cafe that has snacks and drinks available for FREE. They also have a little play area for the kids :)

I'm flying them again in August. With the tv's, I never even realized we were taking off. I watched the Travel Channel all the way to WDW :)

I have heard nothing but good things about them (no personal experience, though). I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting them to make a decision about another outlet in New England (either Boston or Manchester, NH). I would LOVE to be able to fly them in January.

Only negative might be the trip to JFK. Don't know where in NJ you are.

I agree with LewisC. JFK is quite the airport to navigate through with a family. The thought of it does not entice me. Also, JetBlue has been having some technical difficulties with their inflight entertainment system (the TVs). Not all flights have them operational. My neighbor asked for a partial refund or a travel voucher applicable for future travel on a flight she took on JetBlue when the entertainment system on her aircraft was not working. The company refused her request, stating that it wasn't their intention that it wasn't working.

Now that might be all well and good, but when people have a choice of low-cost air travel and a person purchases a ticket on JetBlue explicitly because of the entertainment system, it BETTER work or you'll have a whole plane-load of unhappy customers...

Which occurs more than most people realize...

:)

Indeed, the fact that it was out of JFK is the only negative we found with Jet Blue. Simply put, there is nothing convenient about JFK airport. Not the parking, not the layout of the terminals. Nothing. Maybe it is just that I am too used to LGA, but unless the fare is phenomonally cheaper than anything else, I won't be enticed to fly Jet Blue out of JFK again. The TV was a nice feature, but for the same (or higer) price ticket it wasn't worth the aggrevation of JFK. To be honest, I don't find Jet Blue to be much cheaper than other airlines. If I had waited a few weeks, the ticket from JFK to MCO that we paid $175 for on Jet Blue out of JFK for our May trip would only have cost me $145 from LGA to MCO on Delta. We booked tickets from LGA to MCO on Delta for our December trip for $159 when Jet Blue was $175 again.

Bottom line - Jet Blue is a nice airline, with nice service, new planes, and cool TV's. You will enjoy flying with them, even if you don't enjoy your trip to JFK.

We have used Jetblue at least 4 times and will again in Oct. We have had only good experiences with them. The prices are excellent, the crew very nice and the planes comfy and clean. The only time we were not on time was weather related. We get dropped off and picked up by a friend. We leave on an early AM flight and return after 7 PM at night so the traffic is not bad. The terminal is easy to find by just following the signs. I would definately recommend them.;)

Jet Blue is Great.

We have flown with them several times. My 6 year old doesn't like to fly any other airline that doesn't have Cartoon Network! :)

We love JetBlue. The first time I flew out with them I was so surprised at how clean the planes were. And the crew was just so nice; it frightened me! :) :)

Seriously, relax, put on your TV and settle down for a great flight.

We'll be flying out with them again in how many days????? Need to check my counter.......;)
