Does anyone have an idea when JetBlue will release flights for May 2011? They are currently booking until May 3rd. We need a flight for May 5th and return on the 15th. We usually fly Southwest out of Manchester, NH but they recently released flights for our dates and only offer two nonstop flights, one early morning and one late. Pricing not great either. So...looks like we will fly JetBlue out of Logan instead as they offer numerous non stop flights to Orlando. They seem to have competitive airfare also! So...can anyone answer that question? Will I being seeing the flights soon?:confused3

surprising that SW has only two non-stops out of MHT for your dates. That doesn't usually happen. They have 5 non-stops out of PVD. Hmmm....I wonder why they have so few out of MHT?

Another alternative is also to fly into Tampa which we have done before. Nice airport not as busy as Orlando and just over 1hr to drive across o orlando. SW has a $79.00 nonstop from Manchester to Tampa and a $99.00 return with 1 stop.

I am not sure why SW only has two non-stops from Manchester to Orlando??? They have always offered several. One is early morning and one evening and that is it! The return flights are awful and one is priced at $183..one way. I think going JetBlue out of Logan will be the best option for us if the price is right. Thank you emmabelle for informing me of the Tampa option. That will possibly be a back up plan.

It was actually Webworm, :rotfl:, but I have flown into Tampa, it's not a bad ride.

Do you ever look at flying out of PVD, or is it too far? We're closer to MHT, since we live north of Boston, but I got $69 for our non-stop to FLL out of PVD, for May, on a Saturday and I was thrilled to say the least!!!!! :thumbsup2:cool1:

No, we have not ever considered Providence as it is too long a drive. Manchester is only 25 minutes from us, we are also north of Boston in Tyngsboro, right on the New Hampshire border. If given the choice, I would choose Manchester over Logan anyday. It is so easy to get in and out of. You can never predict what traffic you may hit heading into Boston. However, if Southwest doesn't offer more nonstop flights for our dates, we will absolutely go to Logan and fly JetBlue. I am hoping they release the dates for May soon.

There is a post on flyertalk.com that someone from JB hinted at October for the next JetBlue release of May2011 and on. There is a thread there with past release dates and any new info available also....nothing definate but a place I go to to look for JetBlue info....lots of JB employees post there.

OP, I spoke with a JB agent yesterday and asked and she said they didn't have any word yet when the next release would be. But, if you sign up for the email (trueblue) you will be notified before the public.

Just got an email. The next release through to early September is on Monday Oct. 18th!! The email said, make your summer plans. Wow, this is really early.

YAY! Hopefully I will find some good fares. Thank you so much for the information. I appreciate it very much.

I agree. Jetblue usually only has their schedule open for 6-8 months. This time it will be nearly 11 months. October 18, 2010 - September 6, 2010.

JetBlue release flights today, however they are expensive. To go from Boston to Orlando, nonstop is $360 per person. I am going back to Southwest, out of Manchester. It is a bit cheaper, $286 per person and is nonstop going to Orlando and makes one stop coming home, but no plane change.

Jetblue is very expensive for mid-late August Boston-MCO. I'm going to wait a bit. Unlike April vacation prices, which I have never seen come down, I am certain these fares will go lower. Since August is 10 months away, I'm not in a hurry to purchase.

My May and August rates are a little higher than usual, so I'll wait. I added them to my Yapta account to watch/track. I find the rates on Jetblue go up and down. The better prices always seem to be late Tuesday into early Thursday, so that's when I check for changes.
