I have never flown with this airline before. I am looking for all opinions~the good & the bad, to help me with my decision.:grouphug:

It's about the best airline we fly these days. Nice scheduled. Great passenger cabins. Great online presence.

JetBlue is my 1st choice... They are wonderful! They recently got a bad rap with some media re: delays on the runway.. It got a huge amount of publicity, but a week or two later there was another airline that did the same type of thing and you hardly heard anything about it... must've been a busier news day...

JetBlue is great... you can pick your seats ahead of time, check in online, and the best part is the leather seats & tvs:banana: 28 days before your departure go to JetBlue's site, on top of screen is a help menu, then click on direct tv link.... you put in your flight dates & time and see what will be on your tv's... you can even print it and bring it with you..

Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.:cool1:

I love Jetblue. I try not to fly with anyone else. The planes are great if you have young kids, because on top of the extra leg room, the built in tv's are awesome for keeping them entertained. I have always thought the staff at Jetblue are some of the friendliest and most professional I have even dealt with.

Jet blue is awesome, friendly employees and all the reasons the other posters stated. A little tip after you book your flight, keep up on the prices on jetblue.com DAILY...if the flights go down just call up and request a credit for the diffrence in the rates. They are only good for a year but are easy to sell to friends and yes have even seen them being sold on ebay.

This past year we sold 600 dollars in credit to friends with ease, the employees are very accomidating to deal with over the phone in the call centers.

One last thing the TVs are great but if you have very small kids nickjr is not on , on the the weekends really only have the cartoons and shows for older kids. Not the end of the world but something to keep in mind if you can help it

Great airline....we have been trying to use JetBlue for all flights possible. Great staff, roomy, t.v., very nice airline.

Jetblue + No Snow/Sleet = Awesome Airline
Jetblue + Snow/Sleet = Disaster

My friends rave about them, but they already changed my flight coming home without even telling me. I'm kind of mad about that. I've never flown with them yet though.

That's pretty standard practice in the airline industry. If you haven't encountered it before, you've been lucky.

I'm flying JB out of Boston to MCO in August. I booked my flights about 3 weeks ago. I check on the flights almost daily to see if the fares go down. So, a week after I booked my flights, I got an email from JB, telling me they had changed one of the flights by a half hour. I had to respond to the email so that they would know that I knew about the change. I had never had that happen with any other airline, at least not nearly this early. Yes, I did have Delta/Song let me know about changes but it was a change they made a week before travel. Last May, my dh and dd were flying from Boston on JB, to MCO. They had a 5:30 flight to JFK, with a connection to MCO at 7:45. Well, thank heavens my dh likes to be at the airport early. He got there and they had had to cancel their flight! But they were going to put them on an 8:00 flight to JFK....dh wasn't happy about that since that would mean he would have an issue getting to MCO before midnight!!! The JB people were very good...they rushed dh and dd through security, running to a gate, just as they were getting ready to close the jetway. They held the plane for them, and found them two seats together. Of course, they got to spend a long time sitting at JFK, but dh was thrilled with JB none the less.
All airlines can have an issue when it's snowing/icing. JB made a mistake, they learned from it, and moved on. Snow/ice is the big reason I don't fly during the winter months unless I have to.

Yes, JetBlue is especially good about notifying passengers of changes -- probably the best.

Hey, NYBlue1 - thanks for the reminder! I just checked; I just called; I just saved another $38.50!!!!

We've been flying jetBlue since it came into existence. We've only had good experiences and never had any problems.

My husband had to fly Continental recently for business and he hated it. The plane was uncomfortable and the crew not that friendly.

I have to fly Delta in a few months (for business) because jetBlue doesn't fly from NY to Atlanta and I'm not happy about it. I've become so comfortable flying jetBlue that I don't want to fly any other airline.

With the exception of some small weather related delays, I've always had great service... they are definitely my airline of choice! :thumbsup2
