JetBlue, you're killing me

I've been checking fares for my August WDW trip for weeks, I'm just not ready to book.
Today, JetBlue has updated their website to reflect the new checked bag fees, and the layout is great for a person booking a single ticket, but for booking a family, it's confusing the heck out of me.

I played around for a while, and it really looks like I need to book the fares separately if I am booking four people but only two checked bags. The price savings is great, the inconvenience isn't worth it, why can't they be like other airlines and let me book four fares, and add the bags as a separate step? JetBlue used to be my favorite airline, now with the confusing website, and their awful customer service, I'm looking at other airlines for my travel needs.

I was testing the system too. I had the same question. Keep in mind that if you book 2 separate transactions, remember to book a child with each adult or you will be required to pay the unaccompanied minor fee.

I had to do 2 separate transactions the last time I booked SW when using vouchers....so most airlines have their little annoying issues.

We knew Jetblue was going to do this, and I even read a rumor that it was to go in affect the end of June. I booked my October fare 2 days ago. Looks like I did save the extra $30 for the 2 of us....Oh well, at least it's only $15 to check when purchasing. I looked and it's $20 if you pay online or at the kiosk if you change your mind and cost $25 at the counter.

It does look like you cannot book mixed fare classes for multiple passengers in one itinerary (Blue, Blue Plus or Blue Flex), but that's true of every airline. If you want to fly in a group of four with two free checked bags, you'll have to book two itineraries. Check the benefits of each fare class carefully; it might be worth your while to book 4 Blue Plus Fares anyway, rather than 2 Blue fares and two Blue Plus fares.

I also noticed when I did a dummy booking that the cost of a child to fly was less then adult. It was not like this before.
