Can anyone give me an idea when Jetblue might open up flights for later in Sept? I read the Aug/ early Sept dates have been available for awhile. Want to book flights as soon as they are available.

Thanks!!:)

I have been wondering if there was anyone else out there waiting for the rest of September!! Last year these dates were released on 12/3 and the year before not until 3/6 so I am only guessing but somewhere in between I would think. I open my email every day thinking that TrueBlue is giving me a day or so notice about the next release of dates. I also am buying right away since my outgoing flight last year never really went down in price.

I'm not signed up for their e-mails. Do they have a sign up somewhere on the web site? Guess I'll need to do that. Could you please post if you hear anything? I'll be sure to if I see any new dates. Thanks!!! :)

For September travel, I wouldn't bother booking right when the open up. We booked our tickets about 3 months out and still saw the prices drop (and we obtained a credit) about a month out.

September travel is pretty low, carriers are cautious with scheduling their flights, but demand always seems to come short to some degree.

focusondisney, if you are a TrueBlue member they will email you ahead a day or 2 automatically. There is no cost to become a TrueBlue member if you are not already...just sign up on their website.

Thanks! My DH is a member but he doesn't get an email. I'll have to check on it.

Our flights for last Sept were something like $69 -$79 each way when they first came out. We weren't sure of dates so didn't book immediately. I think we booked at $229 round trip. I eventually got $30 credits. So the prices were definately cheapest when they first came out. And with the way the prices have been this year, I'd rather bok & hope for a credit than wait & see they prices go up.

Those are great fares!!! We almost always fly on a Sunday which very rarely offers the best fare and since we travel 2 hours to the airport (Cape Cod to Logan) don't like to mix up the times too much. I think our outgoing fare last year was either $119 or $129. I am with you on rather get a credit than wait....we go quite often since we are DVC members and it never goes to waste. Good Luck to all of us waiting!!

I was on the phone with jetblue yesterday getting a credit because my April flight's fare went down (I LOVE that JB does that). :thumbsup2 Anyway, I asked if they knew when the next batch of fares would be released (I'm waiting for Nov) and she said that they never know in advance. I do usually get an email from JB a day or two before the fares are released, so I will be carefully checking my email over the next few months.

minster22: we fly out of Buffalo & with Southwest & Jetblue, the fares are usually pretty reasonable, at least if you catch the sales. Good luck, hope you get a good rate! :goodvibes

laughinplace99, thanks for the info! I'll just have to keep watching, I guess. :)

I'm a True Blue member and I don't think I get emails from them, I'll have to check! I'm waiting for them to release a schedule for the fall too, but I hope it's not for another month or so, I'm not ready to buy plane tix for October yet! :rotfl:

That is funny, I feel the same way. I was not happy when they had the last huge release to include August. And when they did have it, the prices were much, much higher than I've ever seen for Jetblue. I still haven't purchased my return flight for May, nor my August flights (either way) because the prices are double what the norm is. I dread seeing the October fares because they've been so high lately. I did do well on my January fares (next week) and while I bought them at $79, they both did drop to $59 each, which shocked me since I leave Sunday of MLK weekend! BTW--check your trueblue profile and make sure you are set up to receive emails. We all receive them here at our house. But, of course, you see I fly them alot.
