We are traveling to WDW in Feb. The end of the second week and beginning of the third. They just extended the rates for Feb 2010. But the day that we want to leave the price is 439.00 Is it because it is still to far away and the price will go down? I mean I know a friday will be higher then say wednesday, but that is just crazy.

Isn't that president's Day weekend? I'm not sure if the prices will go much cheaper over a holiday weekend, but I've never flown JB that time of year, so I gusess anything is possible.:confused3

It is Presidents weekend... but I did a mock trip and put in a holiday for this year and the prices are not even close to that.... :confused3

439~ That is High!

I just did a search from Long Beach Cali to Orlando ( i was just picking something that would take long and have a large price )- 150-250 Range. I know we have a limit on the prices, and 439 for 1 ticket is out of that range. Where are you flying from?

Wait I just Searched the weekend. :) Sorry you are correct. Do not fly the weekend~ It is cheaper during the week.

we are flying from Newark NJ to Orlando...
We wanted to go on the 12th because we have off of work and return on the 18th. The 11th 12th & 13th are in the 439"s.
Is it Possible that the price will drop. And that is only for the outgoing flight... the return is still 104-129.
and that is on the 18th.

Prices for that week are crazy! You would think they would be alittle bit cheaper for the 1st day. Man! We were hoping for at least reasonable airfare for that week for another vacation. The way it looks we're not flying. :headache:

I did a mock trip for Thanksgiving eve (which is the most traveled day of the year and I could go for 154.00)

I wish I knew the future, But it must be the busy time for all airlines. I would call Jet Blue and ask about the change in price, if there is a fee. If not you will get the refund if the price goes down. Even if there is a fee you will get the difference, but with that added fee if there is one. Sorry I can not be more help.

I just bought a one way from Orlando to Buffalo on Feb. 13th( Sat) for $62.

Wow, the week after was crazy high!

Not sure where you are flying from, but that is also the beginning of some winter break weeks in the Northeast. Massachusetts and CT for example I believe both have the week including President's Day off.

If the price does go down, you will get a JetBlue credit which will be good for 1 year, if that helps :)

Yeah, I've got the refund before. I just don't like the idea of spending $3,000 for a flight, when I'm speading $850 to go down at Christmas time.

That may just be me....

Maybe we'll just skip Feb. altogether and go next Christmas. It's hard when you don't want your kids to miss school and summer vacation is a no-go. You're stuck with Christmas, Pres. week, or spring break. Oh well :confused3
