Jetblue or SWA

I know this has probably been asked before, but here I go again........

Jetblue and SWA has great prices now for our trip to MCO. We have only flown SWA and have had no problems. We were thinking of trying Jetblue this time around and from what I gather, you do get a credit if the prices go down BUT if you need to cancel your reservations, it costs you $100.00 per ticket. Now from past experiences with SWA, you don't have to pay this fee if you have to change your dates. Does this still stand true or did they change anything since last year.

I'm tempted to try something new especially since they have the TV's on Jetblue, but the fact that I can't cancel if I need to makes me worried.

Any thoughts?

I'm in the same boat as you...always flown SW but this time around the times for our return are really late, so I'm patiently waiting for JetBlue to release their next block of dates (I'm coming home on Oct 30, and they have posted until Oct 29!). I've never flown JetBlue either, but if the schedule is similar, the flight home is the perfect time. Now let's just hope for the perfect price!

I think the change fee with JetBlue is $75 per ticket. The only thing that changed recently with SW is that the credits used to be transferable, just tied to a number. Now they can only be used by the person named on the original ticket within a year of original purchase. I used to be golden in the past, because a co-worker was usually always travelling within a year of me, and vice-versa, so we used to swap credits all the time! Now I'm holding off buying my flight down for another week so that I'm within the year window for my trip next April, just in case prices drop. They went down $10 today, so I'm hoping!
