Thank you Glorydaz for posting this!!! I have been checking my Sept flights with JetBlue but not my Oct flights. I am buying 4 tickets and they have gone down $320.00...... :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Yeah!!!!!!!!

Thanks!

I went and checked my October dates (Oct 21 - Oct 29) and they went down too!

They went from $277pp to $237pp.

Just thought I'd pass on the news.

Is this just for October? The September flights still seem the same...

Thanks. I booked a one way flight this past Friday for October. I should have waited until today. I called and now have a $40 credit for a future flight.

Ok, I just booked too! My Sept. 30 flight has not gone down, but I will keep an eye on it. However, my return flight on Oct. 8 did go down $40. per person for a savings of $240. :cool1:

I didn't book yet for Oct... I like Jet Blue but the prices were up there!! I like the $89 but I want a earlier flight down as I am coming from Boston and it lands at 5:05pm. How is everyone's gut feeling that they would lower the price of the earlier NS flights??? I can go AirTran for $109 which lands at 12:46 but thats with a 30 min stop. I am open to your gut feelings! Please help me to confuse myself some more, ha ha.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My October flights went up not down - $25 higher on the flight down (PWM-JFK-MCO), same price on the return.

Well, that didn't last. Flight down is still down $20 but flight home is back up by $20.

I didn't book yet. :(

Well, our October flight prices haven't changed much. Right after I bought them, our trip to Orlando flight went up $20 and has stayed right there. Our trip home is exactly the same price. And I bought them on the day they opened up. More $ than I wanted to spend, but at least I've relaxed about it since I now have them. Now I just watch to see if perhaps they go down.

I was getting so nervous - here we saved all this money going at end of Sept with Free Dining and the airfare was unbeleivable (used to song $79). I had heard that Jet Blue doesn't usually lower prices so I had been looking at Airtran but the whole non confirmed seat thing was making me nervous with 3 small kids in tow. I saw this post and cked Jet Blue again. I had to change our departure date by one day but I got $89 (was $129) each way out of LGA. Got 5 RT for under $1,000 so I'm really happy!

Thanks!

so Jet blue does issue flight credits for the price changes? I am only familiar with southwest doing that and that is what is holding me back from Jet blue. Thanks if anyone can help that. prices are still high out of newark for our dates.

Yes, JetBlue will issue a future flight credit for the difference in airfare. It is good for one year. The lower fare needs to be available on your same flight & date of travel.

That said, we booked w/ JB out of Boston over the weekend. Just couldn't stand it when we saw that the rates jumped $30 overnight for our trip down! We are now waiting to see if the earlier flight(which we are on) will drop too--I certainly hope so--$89 is a lot better than $179!!!

Good luck~

:faint:  Well, I should have bought my tickets when they went down to $237. because today they are $617 each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just bought my tickets on JetBlue for 10/17 departure from Boston and returning on 10/25. Yesterday they went up $50 each and I am buying 5 tickets so that hurt!!!One of the kids coming with us is returning on 10/21 and the return flight was $299(beattyfamily I am feeling for you)!!! I am waiting on that flight hoping for a lower fare or will even do SW if needed. I was going to wait but with the fuel prices rising so much and so quickly who knows just how high airfare will go!! OK, on a positive note, when I bought my tickets and then picked our seats there were very few tickets sold, which leaves plenty of room for a sale this summer (hopefully a credit for me !!!). Good Luck with your tickets everyone!!

For JetBlue?!? :faint:

I booked mid Sept for $89 each way..Bos-Mco

We love it because we get there at MCO at 10am, and get home in Bos at 8:40 pm.....

I was told by JetBlue that $89 was the base price, they shouldn't drop below that.. They start at $89 and the price goes up as the seats sell out..

I booked with JetBlue (after waiting for SWA's fares to open up & when they did they were too high) I got $89 each way for the 5 of us..not bad..made DH very happy!

I went & checked the JB website today & now they are $94 each way.
