JetBlue luggage question

Do you really think the Jet Blue counter service at the airport can tell who is primary and who is secondary? No….

ok thanks again! I called the JB credit card and they said the same thing. Now...our night flight which was a good price, the flight prior to that dropped down to the same price. So I could rebook and put us all on the same reservation. I know the points go back into my acct, and my son and husband would get the JB credit. I could then rebook with all of us on 1. Does anyone know if the points and JB credit happen right away? My luck it would take a bit for the points and credit to hit, and the price would go up!

A few times in the past I have had to cancel flights with JB booked with both points and cash. In those cases the cash amount was into my travel bank while I was still on the phone with the agent. The points were deposited pretty much immediately as well.

So after all of this, the earlier flight in the day was cheaper, so I was hesitant things wouldn't go well, but I canceled my reservation and my DH and son's, rebooked us all together using the points and $. We all got the free bags since I'm on the reservation now. Lessened learned I guess about booking separate. It is a little tricky though when you go to use points, a pop up comes up saying something like book your flights as one way since you're using points, then below it is a smaller box that says something like continue without doing one way flights. Anyway, all worked out, thank you everyone for your advice and help, appreciate it!
