JetBlue Fares Dropped for April 2012

Just got a credit of 112.00 for our 4 tickets from Boston to Orlando for next April WOOHOO SoOOO Happy

That is awesome! I was an obsessive airfare checker all last year trying to get lower flights for our April trip (for 15 people!) to Orlando from Boston. My obsessiveness paid off because we ended up with $500 in credits which we are using to take a trip this fall!

Keep checking because you never know if it might drop even lower. When I was able to get the credit on our tickets, the price had only dropped for about 24-36 hours and then never went back down.

We are flying Jetblue next april from BDL and they dropped twice now! I have a $154.40 credit so far... I check everyday

Do the credits just get applied to an account if you contact Jet Blue or do they rebook you on new flights and you have to pay the change fee of $100 per ticket first? Any help you could give would be great since I am about to book Jet Blue tickets shortly. Thanks.

I just called the 1 800 jetblue number and tell them which leg of the flights dropped in price...gave my confirm #, then the flight number and waited on the phone for a bit while they put through the credit for each person in my family. They ask you if you want all the credit in one name or spread out. I had it all put in my name..it ends up as a credit that can be used for a year from when the flights were booked. As long as I book the flights before they expire I can fly anytime after that. Hope I was clear??? It was easier than I thought! and NO FEE was charged to do this!!!

I check multiple times a day. I am not sure if our flight will go down anymore..its at 97.00 one way per person right now from Boston. So I can't imagine they will drop it any lower than that. Its a non stop flight.

Now we are waiting for our return flight to drop.

We live in Ludlow, MA!!! We are about 35-40 minutes from Bradley Int'l Airport. Easy in/out and the parking is much cheaper than in Boston. Where are you?

It is pretty awesome. Just keep an eye on your flights and if you see that they drop at all (even if it is just one leg of your trip) call the Jet Blue Customer Service # with your confirmation # and explain that you saw your flight price dropped and can you get a credit. They will create a travel bank for you and credit the difference to that travel bank for future use.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you purchased tickets for your family of four, they have to have four tickets at the lower price to credit you the difference so be sure when you search flight prices, you search for the same number of tickets you already purchased.

Also, you can get a credit even if just half of your trip goes down in price. On our April trip, our flights to Orlando actually went UP in price at the same time our return flights went DOWN. We were able to get the credit for the new lower return flights even though the other part of our flight now cost more.
