JetBlue "Even More Space" seats, thoughts?

For me, Jet Blue regular seats are roomy enough, more than enough space. OTHER airlines are completely different, I will not even fly United or Spirit. But I like SW, those seem ok to me too.

I won't pay for extra legroom seats. Especially on JetBlue. There is more than enough legroom in the regular seats (unless you are very very tall). But then I don't care whether I am in the front of the plane or the back. If I sit in the back, I don't have to worry about getting my carryon aboard, and I don't have to pay JetBlue anything extra. I also have precheck so I don't care about the security.

If the front of the plane is an absolute must, I can see paying for them.

We have Precheck, so the security perk is not much use to us, but priority boarding and deplaning is the exciting part. Extra legroom is more important to the girlfriend given her stature, I'm a short guy so I don't care so much but I won't object to it! I'm glad this thread warned us off the first row seats, we moved to rows 2 and 3 for the flight down and up respectively.

On another note, I knew JetBlue was generally better but I hadn't realized other airlines had gotten worse on the seat configuration? I already won't fly most airlines, so that just seals the deal. JetBlue is reasonably priced, comfortable, with decent free wifi, I outright refuse to fly Southwest ever again and my future children will have to choose between ever flying them or a possible inheritance :rotfl2:. I loathe the way they run their airline, I will say their staff and customer service are extremely friendly but they're basically flying cattle cars with a poor on time record. Never again. I've never, in six years of flying before I gave up on them, had a flight arrive or depart on time. Not once. I also hate the mad race for boarding priority when the check in window opens and not knowing my seat until that day.

I totally agree with you, Matt. As a person who used to HATE flying, but now flies once a month, usually by myself, (God love my hubby who knows I NEED to see my girl often!) the less stress, the better. I know not all agree, and that's fine, but I will pay extra to KNOW where my seat is ahead of time, and the perk of boarding calmly before the cattle call. I NEED my aisle seat in Row 2, 3, or 4. Then I am a happy camper. And a CALM FLYER! :p
