JetBlue comfortable seating?

I know flying and comfort don't mix, but the 'extra' room JetBlue advertises may convince my extended family to fly to Disney rather than drive. My BIL is 6'4" ~340lbs. DH is about the same but he'll fly because of me.

We would fly from SYR to MCO. It appears that the first 11 rows have the 'most' legroom. Are these reserved as premium seats for frequent flyers?

We are going Sept 2008 so I have time to gather information to provide to them about flying vs driving (having more time in Disney is enough for me!)

Any information is appreciated!

I find the Jet Blue seats to be the most comfortable out there. Anyone can book in the first 11 rows. If they aren't full when you book, you can have them. But keep in mind that even that back rows have more legroom than a typical airline. Also keep in mind that while Jet Blue has more room front-to-back, the seats are the same width as most other airline seats.

And, hey, who doesn't like an airline with built in TV. There are multiple ESPN channels alone. That should convince just about any guy to fly

IMHO, Jet Blue is just a better experience all around. The added room, the TVs, the customer service, and the generally lower fares w/ assigned seats (unlike Southwest) make it more enjoyable.

While the seats are not as wide as seats found in first class in other carriers, they are definitely not as small as most coach seats. Although BIL and DH are pooh-sized, they will be more comfortable with JetBlue than they will with other domestic carriers.

You could be in Orlando within hours, I say fly!!

My DH is 6' 4" and 250 and he was very comfortable. I do not think your BIL would be that uncomfortable, he can put up the arm rest to have a little more width space and ask for a seat belt extender.
