Hi,

What is the procedure for curbside check with JetBlue at Logan Airport? (I understand there is a $2 per bag fee, plus tip. I'm OK with that) I wouldn't need to check in online before my flight?

Also, if I *did* do online check in, where is the bag drop location?

I'm trying to avoid lugging our bags too far, if possible. We'll have our 2 kids with us. So, I guess what I'm getting at, is what is the easiest way to go? I think we're going to park at PreFlight Parking in Chelsea and I assume their shuttle will drop us off at the proper terminal for our airline.

Sorry for all the ridiculous questions. The last 2 time we flew was Southwest out of Providence.

Thank you for your help.

I have done both at Logan and most recently have done the online checkin and dropped our bags at the desk designated for online checkin. It is just inside the door at the counter but a separate line for those who have checked in online. Very easy and no wait the couple of times I have done it.The line was actually longer outside at curbside. It is a few more steps but I think just as easy as curbside and no fees or tips (we really are trying to cut costs anywhere we can!!).

Thank you for your help. It helps to know that the line for checking just the baggage is just inside the door. I think we'll try that. It will encourage me to pack light! :)

Well, the line for just checking your luggage after checking in online is at the counter in the terminal; as minster22 points out, there are actually two lines there - one for just luggage, and one for actually checking in. But look at it this way - you have to pretty much walk right past the counter anyway, to get to the security line and the gate!

The original post is from a year and a half ago. We're going to be flying Jetblue out of Logan for the first time this November. Could anyone confirm if online check in still works the way described in these posts from last year?

Thanks in advance!

my last experience with jetblue curbside was a bit shady. Check in guy said I was over weight limit but wouldn't charge me. When I went to pay for 4 bags with a 50 he didn't give me change. I asked for my change and he said come on I didn't charge you for going over weight limit. I had to go inside and get a manager to get my change for me. I don't see $42 as change I would have tipped but not that much. I asked them to weigh the bag infront of me and it was under weight. Lesson learned have singles on you. So they don't try to scam you because your in a rush.

I seldom use curbside checkin. It is almost just as easy to use the inside checkin counters. I usually just head to the kiosks, get checked in, then go to the area that has been indicated by my kiosk number. I haven't had to wait in a line when doing it this way..it is very quick and efficient.

I always use curbside check in at Logan, and I've flown only jetBlue outbound after 11/05 (Delta miles to use up :)). I've never had a problem with the jetBlue SkyCaps; they've been very professional. Now, I agree the PP's experience was 'shady' (I have unDISable words) on several counts. The word I can use is unethical.
But I truly feel what happened to her is an anomaly.
