JetBlue boarding passes - seats not assigned????

I was supposed to fly out of Burlington Vermont tomorrow evening thru JFK. I managed to change my flight to the 9:00 am nonstop to Orlando. JetBlue waived all fees and extra charges. I was ecstatic! I am bypassing JFK so the prospects are good that my flight will be a go.

So I just checked in online and printed my boarding passes and I realized I had no seats assigned and my boarding passes say "STAND BY." No way! The customer service person did not tell me that I would be flying stand by!

Am I SOL now?

I would call back and verify that you still can get on your evening flight if you don't make it on the morning one.

Yesterday was very stressful, but we made it to FL. I was not really on standby, just didn't have seats assigned so the computer defaults the boarding passes to "standby." We were so lucky to be on the last plane leaving the airport before the storm hit.

Weather is great and my heart goes out to all the people stranded in airports tonight.
