Jetblue and free bag question using JB credit

Hi, took the advice on the boards, and I rebooked our flights on Jetblue- I did 2 one way tickets so I was able to use my points on 1 leg, and the other leg I used the JB credit. The one flight where I used points, I still needed to pay a bit, so I have the JB credit card so I don't have to pay for bags. The other flight I used just the JB credit. Do you think there will be any issues at the airport with the bags, if I show them the JB credit card I guess there won't be a problem as far as being charged for our bags?

Never mind, I realized I hadn't added the bags when I re-did the reservation, so I went back in and added the 1 bag to each of us, and it came up $0 owed. I get so nervous booking and changing air fare for some reason!

Yes, this is the way.

It’s made us nervous in the past too. I also found out if you didn’t add the checked bag in the reservation, you still won’t be charged if you print the tag at the airport (as long as the credit card holder is there checking the bags on same reservation).

As an FYI for anyone using just points to book a flight as long as you use the JB card to pay the taxes that gets you free bags as well.

I'm actually not 100% sure but if you have the JB card just linked to your true Blue account that you would get the bags no matter how you paid the taxes.

Thanks everyone! It all worked out, we even still have a jet blue credit. For the flight home, the earlier flight price had dropped so I was able to change that as well as leaving on Sunday instead of Saturday.
