In the past, we have used our Disney Visa from Chase for EVERYTHING in order to store up points for use during WDW trips. However, for our next trip my Mom will be paying for everything except for our airfare. I have recently signed up for a jetblue American Express card which came with 10,000 bonus points at sign up. I anticipate using this card for most purchases in order to get hopefully at least one "free" flight. The purchase/point ratio seems to be better than the Disney Visa and also the value of the points seems higher.
Does anyone else have and use this American Express card? Do they run promotions like the Disney Visa such as 5x points on groceries, etc.? What has your luck been in using points to pay for flights? We fly jetblue because it offers a direct flight from VT to WDW, they have a TV in each seat and because their customer service has been absolutely phenomenal. (Plus, their prices have often been cheaper than other airlines when flying from VT to FL).
Thanks in advance for any advice or input.
