This is not a DCL excursion,
but as u get off the ship in KEY WEST,
u will see the jet ski shack there on the dock
they rent jet skis for a cost of 55.00 for 30 minutes and
$80.00 for 1 hr.

But they also offer a jet ski tour
witch last about 2 hours and u cover about 20 miles or so
the cost for this was $95.00 for one person and and $105.00
for 2 poeple on 1 ski..
this was a blast we had a great time on this trip was
fun to be out on the ski... the Guides where great
u would go from place to place and then get a little history lesson ,, Wear plenty of sun screen and bring it with u to reapply also bring a bottle of water with u .. u will get thirsty
and there is a water tight compartment on the ski
we did reach top speed of 60 mph.. with 2 people on one ski
wife was just a little scared...
but she drove it on the way back and had fun.....
oh yea it was a SEADOO ? speedometer said 80 mph
Guide said it would do it with one person on it...

GREAT FUN

they also require a $300.00 deposit for the ski, refundable
and take cc

Hi Jenn - so you did enjoy Key west I see - did you go on the Atlantic side or the Gulf side? did they take you anywhere special or "just out to sea"?
Glad that your cruise went so well and by the way it was a most pleasure to have finally put a face to the name - I was so thrilled to meet so many of you on the morn of 5-11-02 at the Radisson - You all looked ready to go and what a grin everyone had - I enjoyed Joe's "hair" or what wasn't :-D
Anyhow stay safe and will chat with you soon.
Always

not sure where they took us but we did go out to the atlantic and also remember something about some place they stored submarines at on time or where going to...
u went out past the island u can see from the cruise ship dock
and we did have a great cruise , and

also we did the conch train tour and that was fun as well
very good guide she knew alot of the history of key West

Joe is a trip he is just the nicest Guy ..
and the long hair hat was pretty funny also.....

key west is fun and we also went to the sunset festival right there next to the dock was neat to see all the street performers

my family (with the exception of me) have never been on jetskies... would this tour be appropiate? also my little bro will be 11.. will he be allowed to go on w/ my dad? also i have never been on a jetski tour.. do they stop out at sea or such? do you constanly go fast?

yes they do stop and have little dicusssion sessions..
and there was a little boy on one with his dad on our tour
i think little Bro. would be fine .... yes even if u have not been on one u will be ok ... there r times to do what u want and times that the make u go in a formation ..
and times when u can leave no wake.....

Did you happen to notice of they had AGES posted that are allowed or not allowed?? My sweet girl will be 8 years old when we cruise next year, and I think this jet-ski trip sounds FUN. We had a jet ski, and she could drive it at 5-6 years old and turn tricks ( NOT riding alone of course, but she did "drive" all by herself)... So we can handle a young kid on a ski. Question is, do they allow it. Happen to remember the NAME of the place? So I can look into it myself? We like to do our OWN excursions. We save money and do ALOT of fun things on our own. We like adventure, but I also plan on what we will do where, ya know? Anyways, if you can answer any of my questions, I'd REALLY appreciate it. THANKS>

drive it i do not know , but im sure she could ride on it ?
when i was there 2 boys under 18 took a test and the could operate the ski not sure of the age limit though.
