Jet Ski on St. Thomas??

We are going on the May 1st Eastern and dh is wondering if there are any beaches that have jet ski rentals? And if there are, anyone know the cost? I tried a couple St. Thomas websites and couldn't find any specific information regarding this.

yes they do have Jet ski / wave runner rental in st. Thomas

but i donot know the place that we did it ... was a few years back...

Are you planning on doing anything on St. Maarten? They had jet ski rentals right on Great Bay Beach (you can see it from the ship). There were also chairs for rent and water trampolines. It wasn't a beautiful beach but nice enough for a couple of hours. There were also many people walking along the beach hawking their wares. A polite no thank you would send them on their way until they came back the other way. A bit annoying but not enough to ruin our day.

Our plan on St. Maarten is to go to Great Bay Beach!! (that is the one that you just take the water taxi to, right?) dh will be so excited to hear that he can get his jet ski. Anyone know about how much the rental is?? Great Bay beach isn't one of the "clothing optional" beaches, is it??

Yes, Great Bay Beach is the one you can take the water taxi to. The taxi was $5.00 for DH and I and free for the kids (ages 3 and 4). It dropped you off right at the beach where we rented beach chairs for $10.00. We rented ones with the "Miller Lite" umbrellas and it included two free drinks and use of their restrooms.

I am not sure on the cost of the jet ski rentals. They did provide life jackets. It looked like they were run by locals so you may be able to bargain for the price.

The beach borders the town too, so maybe while DH jet skis, you can get some shopping in. My DH found beers for $1.00, I saw signs for 2 for $1.00.

I did not see any nudity on the beach.
