Hi all,
We are arriving at MCO at 9pm on Wed 4th Jan after 21hrs of traveling. We will definitely want to sleep in but will wake up hungry. We intend on picking up a hire car and shopping for groceries but will want some breakfast (or maybe lunch by the time we get up) before we head out.

I was wondering as I have no idea how long we will all sleep in if we go to Trails End without an ADR what are our chances? Maybe someone has a better idea to feed the 5 of us when we finally emerge on our first full day at WDW.

We don't have a dining plan or park tickets for the first 4 days of our trip. We have a split ressie and free dining kicks in on the 8th with our 6 day PH tickets. Our first four days will be spent at Universal, Kennedy and exploring FW.

Any suggestions for us travelers from Oz will be greatly appreciated.:)

You will be fine with no ADR.

Breakfast is not normally standing room only and early january is slow after the christmas crowds.

Eat some mickey waffles for me with lots of syrup and a diet coke!

Ps-wow u r coming from halfway around the world. Sleep in - but remember breakfast at TE is a buffet but lunch is menu/order/not buffet.

They'll ask you at the desk if you have reservtions, they always do. But you wont need them. Only dinners during peak seasons have I seen a need for them.

Thanks. I will now sleep easy!

Mickey Waffles and diet Coke sounds like a perfect cure for Jet Lag. When I told my DD's about Mickey Waffles DD2 did a Homer Simpson impersonation :drool:mickey waffles:drool:
