Can anyone fill me in on Jet Blue? They have daily service from Boston to Orlando and they have VERY good prices with great times on non stop flights. Any info on them is greatly appreciated!

Are you really close enough to Boston that you would consider flying out of Logan? I was born and raised down in K'port, roughly 1 3/4 hrs from Logan without traffic, and I think I would be inclined to fly out of Portland if it were affordable, or Manchester NH where it is likely cheaper than Boston (parking certainly is). Other Mainers usually told me that they considered those of us in York County to be in the Greater Boston area (not hardly Maine at all:p ), so maybe... Of course now I live on the T, within 128, so Logan works well for us; and the parents sometimes will drive down, park at our house and take the T to Logan.

In answer to your actual question, JetBlue is great! All new, super-Mod planes, with individual screens at each seat where you can watch movies, TV or play games. There is slightly less legroom than the new Delta/Song planes, but still very nice. And the flights tend to be point to point, non-stop, as is the case with the new BOS-MCO service. In the Boston area we are thrilled to see some more competition on the lower end of the fare spectrum, without having to drive to Providence or Manchester. I guess the other advantage Delta/Song has is the ability to book 11 months out, while JetBlue only goes out 9 (I think) months, and of course Southwest is an even shorter window. So for compulsive planners/ DVC members like myself, it is worrisome not to have a good fare already booked.:hyper:

Good luck

Flying out of Portland is out of the question for us. The extra cost of airplane tickets is over $400 for the four of us not to mention the flights and the times that we want to fly is just there. We flew out of Manchester two weeks ago but again the time and the flights we want to take is not convenient for us plus the cost per ticket before taxes and fees is around $200 a ticket.

After giving it a lot of thought yesterday I decided to bite the bullet and buy them, I ended up with the exact times we wanted for $160 a ticket from Jet Blue. Hearing your reviews of the air line makes me feel SOO much better as I was a little nervous about them simply because I never heard of them.

Thank you for your help!

Well, I have never flown JetBlue, but on my current trip to Disney World, my dad wanted us (my sister and I) to fly JetBlue. Basically because it is cheap, it also has the newest planes. They are made my airbus, I dont know much about them. All I've heard is they have bigger coach seats and more TVs and stuff. Everyone who I know who has flown JetBlue has LOVED it.

Here's the website that explains the Airbus planes. http://www.airbus.com/dynamic/product/index_h.asp
