Me and my family will be going to Disney for 5 nights. Me and my brother said weeks ago that isnt enough time in Florida and we will feel rushed etc. I suggested that once we get there we take the magical express back but go to the Jet Blue counter and tell them we want to delay our Flight and leave on a Saturday (2 extra nights) or Sunday . My question is can you really do that? Will they charge us extra? Once we get to MCO I suggested we rent a car and stay in a super cheap motel offsite and relax go to a park ...see florida outside of disney .

I dunno how does this sounds? The reason things arent set in stone now and we havent changed any plans is because we want to see how much money we have leftover to do this because i dont know how much im going to spend while I am there

Chances are you will pay a change/cancellation fee plus have to pay the difference in the air fare (between what you paid and what is currently showing).

I believe you can change now without a penalty though. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.:goodvibes

Yikes a change/cancellation fee!:scared1: We already got our travel documents etc...It would be too much of a hardship. I guess we'd better forget it . Thanx for answering though

Only for some sort of weather event as defined by JetBlue on their website for the time it is happening. As mentioned above they will charge the change fee plus any additional fare increases. Probably not worth it if you are on a budget.

Yes, i thought about doing the same thing but tacking on the day at the beginning of the trip. But the fee to change your ticket is 100 per ticket. I'm like forget it. (ps. I still want to though)

JetBlue has a $100 change or cancel fee per ticketed passenger + the cost of the airfare.
So if the base rate of the ticket you originally purchased was $99 and the new ticket is $199 then you would have the $100 change fee plus the difference in airfare which in this case would be another $100= total $200 per person.

Air Tran changes are $75, I believe Delta, American, Continental, Northwest, US air, & United are $150. Southwest no charge.

If you do decide to make any changes you can either call them on the phone or access the internet to make the changes. You do not have to go back to the airport to make the changes.

One correction if your original ticket is $99 or less, than they only charge a $50 plus any difference in cost. Ex old ticket is $69. New ticket is 150. Total cost would be 131. The diffence plus the fee.
