Just a heads up for anyone flying Jet blue around New years...(or anytime actually!) i just checked the website and got a credit on my return flight.. saved $55 since my price has gone down since i booked it! :)

Keep checking that site.. any decrease gets you a credit on your jet blue account.. .these can be used for future flights up to 1 year! Every little bit helps! :) You just have to call and tell them that you see the price has gone down on your flight.

Thanks for the heads up! :thumbsup2
i want to use them to fly to FLL in mid-January, and so far the rates haven't been that great. Heading to their site now.
:sunny:

I was able to get $69. each way in January. Booked it this past Tuesday.

REMEMBER when you do this, even though you're not changing your itinerary at all, that they're effectively rebooking you on the same flight - so be sure to get your seats (re)assigned!!!! Usually the JetBlue rep will remember to do this anyway, but always double-check.

Jet Blue is having some great sales. We booked our trip down in mid January for $59 from Buffalo.

I have a credit for $800 for my Nov trip. I know I bought at a very high price and took the gamble it would go down the closer my date came. I needed this flight because I like the departure times, my dh loves the nonstop and kids, well love the TV. Good luck to all and keep checking.

The flight I want still hasn't gone down. I don't know whether to book it and hope it goes down and get a credit, or just go later in the day and arrive in FLL at 8:30pm. I wish I could tell how full the plane is.

LoraJ - you can CALL JetBlue for assistance. There's no extra fee for booking your tickets through a phone agent vs online (a practice instituted by a number of airlines even though they may phrase it differently). The only difference is, if you book online you get double TrueBlue points.

Yikes! so far, the flight I originally booked has gone up $40. :scared1:

Same thing here, the flight I booked this past Tuesday has gone up $40.

But calling is so last century. ;)
