We live in Canada but my husband wants to fly out of the US and is looking at Jet Blue as the airline. He is thinking of either going from Buffalo or Saracuse. Does anyone have any advice on which would be better and also what hotels have good rates. He says we will park at the airport.

Thank you for your help.

Where in Canada do you live? If you are near Ottawa its easier to fly out of Syracuse but if you live near Hamilton or Toronto its easier to fly out of Buffalo. The Buffalo flights are a little cheaper but they all require a stop at JFK in NY & take at least 5 hrs. There is 1 non-stop from Syracuse to Orlando each day. I believe it takes at least 2 hrs to drive from Buffalo to Syracuse. I have flown out of both airports, but since we have family near by I have never stayed at a hotel near the airport.

We live in Rochester,NY & live 5 mins from our airport but we will sometimes drive to Buffalo (an hour away) if we get a good deal on SWA flights.

Check them out!

The Canadian Forum has lots of questions and answers you can Search for.
Southwest,Air Tran and Jet Blue (good prices)all fly out of Buffalo (along with others) to MCO.
As for hotels, try looking at www.parksleepfly.com for rates
(we usually stay at the Millenium Hotel in Buffalo)

If you fly out of Syracuse, there is a Best Western right next to the airport where you can park for free with a one night reservation. It's usually cheaper for us to do that rather than pay to park.

It was a breeze. We will never fly out of Toronto again. Customs were easier and park and fly is a 2 second walk from terminal! Flew SWA and had great service both ways!!!
