Jet Blue lowered summer prices

Yes! I bought our August tickets this morning!

How much did yours drop?

Our flight home is great, $72. Our flight going is $202. But, we're stuck with a Friday afternoon flight, so I'm not sure how much lower it was going to get. Yesterday, though, it was $260. I was hoping for $150something, but that might have been a pipe dream.

They were $266 down and $240 back, and they dropped to $211 each way from Portland Maine. Because of the price drop I was able to purchase our 3 tickets down with points, and we each had $100 in our travel banks from last year. All in -3 roundtrip tickets, with luggage=$520.80! This is for travel on Tuesdays.

I posted about this too! Got mine $138 down and $149 back for July 4th week from BOS. Sun-Fri, so I was at the mercy of JetBlue. Haha

Ok, so I’ll look tomorrow morning, as we can cancel and rebook if it goes down again.

But, after tomorrow, who’s going to be able to resist the temptation to check prices until the summer to see if they jumped the gun too soon?

I try to never do that with Jetblue because I'll just get annoyed with myself. ::yes::::yes::

Now with Southwest I will still stalk the site to see if I can perfect the times and price since they don't have change fees. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I just checked mine. My $211 fare down is now $254. So glad I bought yesterday. I tell myself not to check the price after the 24 hour period has passed for cancelling/rebooking, but I just can't help myself. :rolleyes1

It definitely pays to check every day before you buy. That's a crazy jump in price PrincessArlena'sDad!

Thats a huge jump pp, however, the cost to change may not make it even worth it?

No, I bought at $72.
I checked the next day to see if it went down in the 24 hour grace period, and if it did I’d cancel/rebook.

But I found it went up to $260 for the same flight. I’m so glad I booked when I did!

Dropped again today this morning - (or overnight) - the $177 fare going for our July trip dropped to $100 !!
