Jet Blue announced that they will be starting non-stop service out of EWR to Orlando along with a few other FL cities and San Juan.

I just booked tickets for my October trip. Total cost pp was $227. A few bucks cheaper then CO.

Not a bad tradeoff with Song leaving in September.

WOW, thanks for posting this. This is great news, I live in Essex County and EWR is so convienent for me. I'm heading to JFK next month to fly Jet Blue to Disneyland.

I'm in Bergen County and have been flying out of LGA since fares have been so high out of Newark :sad2:

Just checked the beginning of January and Jet Blue is offering $195.40 EWR to MCO!!! :cheer2:

No more GWB!!! :jumping1:

While I'm psyched to hear that as I am sick of flying out of JFK..that's about the same price I've always paid out of Newark on Continental or Delta. :confused3
Jet Blue won't have the cheaper fares like they do out of JFK?

I think JFK will remain cheaper, as it is a hub. But I hope I am wrong! We love both Jet Blue and Song......

We are going in January and the fares posted from JFK and Newark are both $195.40!

I was so depressed when I heard this because I already bought non-refundable tickets for Song out of JFK...the good news is the Jet Blue ones were the same exact price ($877 for 5 round trip tickets) the bad news is that we still have to drive all the way to JFK when Newark is 4 exits away on the Turnpike:(

Continental is matching and sometimes beating JetBlue's rates from EWR to MCO- I just pulled up my dates and Continental gave me $155.40 r/t :cool1: . I was pulling up $285 for the same flights a little more than a month ago.

Unfortunately I need to wait to buy my tix till tomorrow night- I'm hoping this isn't a fluke!

I rechecked my dates on Continental and it is now matching the JetBlue fare of $195.40. :teeth:

Whoopie, how about a pricing war!! :dancer: :thewave:

I AM SOOOOOOO    :rotfl: EXCITED THAT JETBLUE IS FINALLY COMING TO NEWARK!!!!!

Wow! I have been waiting a long time for this. I have been a Jetblue fan since they went into business. I would rather drive to JFK then fly out of Newark because of the service and ontime performance of Jetblue than fly Continental out of Newark. Had way to many problems with Continental and always would leave late or get bumped.

Jetblue Rocks!!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Alright I spent the past two days debating between Continental & Jet Blue....Jet Blue was higher by $40.00. However they offer leather seats compared to CO's rock hard seats and have personal tv's....Since it's DH's first time flying, I chose comfort...after all he's worth it :rotfl: So, Jet Blue it is!!!!
