Jet Blue baggage?

I've never flown on Jet Blue before which is how we're traveling in a little over a week from now YAY...can't wait!!! & I saw on their baggage policy you can take one bag for free. is there anyone who has flown JetBlue before that can give some insight to if the free bag is a checked bag or a carry on bag. TIA for any & all info.

One checked bag is free, under a certain weight limit. Hard to believe they are still able to offer it, but... I'm sure it's built into the fares somehow Seriously though, I am a fan of theirs- and the baggage is certainly one reason why.

Edit: In the interest of being thorough: one carry-on bag and one personal item are also free.

We've flown jet blue into Long Beach many times--you get one free checked bag, plus your carryon, also free, as usual. I like jet blue much better than southwest, mainly because I get to choose seats when I buy, but I've found them to be a really nice airline, too!

Yep! One checked bag per person under 50 lbs and one carry on. Can't beat Jet Blue!!

I actually have another question you may be able to answer. We are also fying into LGB & staying in Buena Park on a Thursday around 2pm. How long does it take in traffic etc. to get to Buena Park? I need to schedule a shuttle from our hotel to Disney the day we arrive (as its a free shuttle, it requires to make a reservation) I want to give enough time.

Their prices are really good too... they have one way flights for $56 from SFO... I'm in San Jose so only an hour away... better than paying $500 or $600 at Southwest... of course I booked late but I got a great deal... I'm very excited!!!

Long Beach to Buena Park on a Thursday at 2 PM should take you around 25-30 minutes. There typically isn't any traffic at that time.
