Peach Girl- You're a Southern Baptist, a Sooner fan and a Liberal?

I am officially in awe. . ;)

:teeth:

Why thank you !:D At least it proves I'm not lying about who I am...no one could make that up!

I think it has something to do with being sent to a private Catholic school for the first 2 years.....

What can I say, I had a very twisted childhood.

I really don't see anything to laugh about Kyle; I truly admire PG's ability to stand-up for what she believes in such a non-liberal atmosphere. . .

I mean, it's not like she's a Buffet fan and a conservative- now that's funny!! :p

I, too, am a recovering Southern Baptist (now Presbyterian).

During the 1984 presidential campain, my church (First Baptist Chuch of Euless, Texas, to be precise) had Republican campain literature in the lobby. As if THAT weren't the last straw, somone got up in the pulpit and told the MEN of the church to pick up the literature and become informed of the issues SO THAT THEY COULD TELL THEIR WIVES HOW TO VOTE. Thus ended 26 years as a Southern Baptist.

Don't mess with women !!!

Ever hear of the Yvette movement? Yvette is a common name for women in Quebec. In the 80s during the first referendum to separate from Canada some idiot politician made the ridiculous statement that it could be assumed that women would vote as their husbands did ( told them to was insinuated ). man, you should have seen the uprising...the Yvette rallies springing up all over the province. blew their damned referendum right out of the water.
