Now I feel bad for you.

There's no doubt she has a great body. Besides butchering the song, I just think she went overboard in the video. Even though I never really cared for her, I always liked her respectable style. She has now joined the ranks of Britney and Christina, IMO.

Actually If you havent noticed... Christina left those dark corners.. (sorry I am a big fan after I saw her biography).. now she is grown up and not doing that 'slutty' stuff anymore..

I still think Jessica Simpson has a good voice, just not in this song. I think she looks really good-she works hard for her body. If she didn't, she would be out of a job.

Viking, I didn't make that statement as an "excuse". For what it's worth, I'm 35 years old and I AM in pretty good shape for a mother of 2. But like Blondy said, no amount of exercise will cure that specific problem. It's just a natural thing that happens to most mothers.

I always liked Christina's music. I also think she has an incredible voice. I'm glad she toned down her image. I just wish she wouldn't have taken that route to begin with. She's very talented.

I watched a show on VH-1 called Driven about her and if I remember right, she didn't want to do what Britney and Christina were doing {acting on their sexuality} to sell records.

From what I saw in that video, that is excatly what she is doing. Guess she figures if she wants to sell records and get people to notice her she better start selling her soul and start acting like a slut.

I use to like her until this point. If I had her body I would be showing it off also, but that can be done in a tastefull way. No need to dress like a street walker.

I think Jessica and Christina can sing, especially Christina. She shouldn't do all the stuff she does to get noticed, she should let her voice do that for her. No need to go all crazy and that! Thank goodness she has toned it down. Now as for Britney, I think she needs all the help she can get.

As for the song, I like the older version ALOT better!!! Why must artist today take older songs and put a "twist" to them. If it's not broke, DON'T fix it!!!

Everyone's definition of sexy and slutty are different.

To me, this is not an image I want shown to my girls to try and emulate. Honestly, when my girls are teens, and walk up to someone's son dressed and acting like that, do you think that mother is going to say my daughter looks sexy? I doubt it.

I totally agree!!! If my DS brought a girl home dressed like how Jessica was in the bar, she would be going right back out the door. I would find it disrespectful if a girl showed up at my house dressed like that. Of course DS would more then likely find it sexy, but not me! Plus that is something I would not want my DD exposed to either.

I'm sorry, I don't ever remember Daisy Duke dressed like that, except for the shorts. Or dancing the way Jessica was in the video.

She may have a great body, but she looks like nothing more than a cheap stripper in that video. And MY GOSH she butchered that song. One of my biggest pet peeves are songs where you can't understand what the artist is saying. What is the point of the song?

I saw some of it on Fox News earlier today. I don't know, I never cared for Jessica's voice to start with, so I can't say I like the song, but I suspect the video is a shout out to the world saying "hey, if you like this 3 minute video, you'll LOVE the 2 hour movie - all Jessica, all the time".

Wonder if the Bo and Luke get any screen time?

Okay.. I click on the link, the video starts and the first thing I think is "wait, this is Britney Spears, not Jessica Simpson". Then I look closer and think "well whaddaya know, boy did she "britney-up" her image!" Then they cut to her washing the car and I say.. "what, is she Paris Hilton now? The poor girl is just trying to find herself! That's what's wrong!" I wondered what the heck car washing had to do with walking boots and then it hit me... maybe she is singing "These Boots are made for WASHING "

AHHH.. it's all so much clearer now! It's a video made by a young woman trying to figure out what blonde she wants to be like, promoting the usefulness of car washing while wearing pointy-toed cowboy boots after a long day wiggling your butt in a bar while serving the same glued down beer while a poor has been country singer who's just trying to pay off the IRS is sitting in the corner singing (or at least mouthing the words because I couldn't hear him) while they give him what they feel is fair screentime being the legend he is.. all of 1.5 seconds. Phew.. did I get it right?

I like Jessica. I saw her when she first came out and she was really good and very sweet and down to earth. If I had her body, I'd be flaunting it too.

It's not about her body and looking good -- it is what is coming from her vocals!!

Well I hate her version of that song but I am pretty partial to the Nancy Sinatra version myself. I like JS's songs about 50/50...this one just does not work for me. The video was a little gratuitous but her dancing just bothered me. It just seemed a little too over the top.

However, I have to say that she does look incredible. I don't normally notice the body of any other woman but I have to give her credit for looking hot and if I had that body I would wear a bikini to wash my DH's car all the time.
