Being from Jersey I made that mistake once and will never do it again. The extra crowds were not worth it. Missing an extra 2 days of school is worth it in my opinion. Pick another week!

We have been to Disney several times during Jerset week and do'nt find them to be that crowded at all.Waits maybe 20 min. in the afternoon for the popular rides. I think it's a great time to go!! Goin thi year Oct.30- Nov.6. Do'nt be afraid of us Jersetites,we're really nice!

As a Southerner who doesn't know any New England-ites, I'm looking forward to visiting during Jersey Week this year. I want to talk to some real live Jersey folks- you guys are kinda exotic to us! I want to teach you how to say, "Hey, y'all!"

Wow - thanks for the quick response. We'll be at WDW Nov. 8 - 19th so we'll miss Jersey week. Not that we don't like people from New Jersey just don't want big crowds!

You ain't kiddin' it sure is a small world after all! We're right over the Brick - Toms River border. Dover township. Haven't lived in Brooklyn in 17 years. I do miss it sometimes. Love it here though!

Stay away from Jersey Week! The crowds are horrendous!!

Not really, but those of us from NJ need to make everyone believe that ! I hope everyone does think that "Jersey Week" is a time to avoid because we love going during this time. The weather is beautiful .

So come on everyone from NJ, don't let them in on our little secret about the crowds during Jersey Week !

Absolutely! Don't come on Jersey Week! We are horrible people in Jersey! Better to let us have the parks to ourselves. Honestly, the crowds aren't as bad as everyone lets on.

Just as a heads up for next year, Teacher's convention will be November 10- 11, 2005. The 10th is my DGD's 12th birthday and we'll be celebrating it during Jersey Week in 2005! We usually plan our WDW trips in May and/or September, but I'm looking forward to seeing many other Jerseyites next year!

Hello to all from NJ --- Freehold here (we seem to have Monmouth & Ocean covered in this thread). Will be in WDW for our first Jersey Week this year and can't wait. I'm guessing that MNSSHP on Halloween Night will be full of us New Jerseyans since it is at the start of Jersey Week. We'll be there.

I've always heard that Nov week is crowded in disney, I just never realized it was cause of US ...LOL duh We will be there Dec 2-13 My kids have half days that week and dont do much in school anyway so I thought ti would be cool to see the Christmas Decorations for a change. Stayin at the poly <hoping for AP rates> so any other Jersey folks leaving that week from ACY I'll be the one sleeping in the airport spilling coffee at 6am!
