Jersey Week....

I have seen a few references to "Jersey Week". When does this normally occur? What exactly is it? And, lastly, how did it affect the parks? Thanks in advance.

In 2002, it was November 5-11 and our schools were closed the whole week. Veterans Day was the 11th, school returned on Tuesday the 12th. Here is a thread on the DIS boards with more info:

I believe the effect is more pronounced during even years. New Jersey schools are out for general elections off as well.

It seems like any excuse to excape NJ works. The parks are usually crowded on President's Weekend too!
