Jersey week?

Been awhile since we have been down in early Nov. We always used to travel that week since our anniversary is 11/11....Crowd levels were pretty low. Nice weather, low crowds . We didnt even know what Jersey week was until we took our 1st Disney cruise in 05 and 3/4 of the ship were from Jersey !!!! I am hoping I can convince DH to go this year since its a double holiday week, election day and veterans day. But we will be down for a week in April ( not Easter Week) and for Labor day weekend after our Dream Cruise. I'm thinking its going to be a tough sell to throw in November too!!

We always go during Jersey Week- we only find it crowded on the weekend. If you want to see the dates, look on the NJEA site- they have it listed for a couple of years. I'm really looking forward to next year- it will be a Presidential Election, so we'll have off that day, too (we don't for other elections).

we will also be there for our first "Jersey Week" . I just thought this is a Presidential election year?, uhh you said next year. See just had a Snookie moment

Thanks everyone for all the wonderful input on Jersey week. We did decide to change our ressie. I don't mind taking the kids out of school but it is certainly easier on them not to miss as much. Plus I feel that they probably won't miss as much that week any ways leading up to a vacation. They have school Mon, Tues, Wed, but are off Thursday and Friday. So, we are now booked Sat. 11/5 - 11/12. Who know we may even head to Epcot for F&W. We have never visited during that before!!! Our oldest daughter will be a senior next year and our next daughter will be a junior. I have no idea how hard it will be to try and plan trips with different colleges and different vacations. We better enjoy these trips while we can with our whole family.....Can't wait for November!!!!!!

Is this still a prime time for DVC like October is? Just wondering if I would have a better chance getting into BCV at 7 months if we go in October vs. November.
