wanted to see how many of you all are heading down to WDW for Jersey week (1st week of Nov.)
It seems like everything is booked up, so there must be a lot of people blowing off a day of school to extend their trip.

We booked our trip yesterday! Last minute spur of the moment. 1br at Animal Kingdom.

We caught Jersey week last year for the first few days. We didn't plan it, since we are from Maryland. I won't make that mistake again.

I have a son entering kindergarten next year, so I was wondering about November Jersey week. Is it crowded that week? How is the weather at that time of year?

We live in Middletown and my kids have the whole week off from school this year. :cheer2: No guilt of pulling them out this year.:cool1:

We will be at AKL Sat-sat

Uh oh, what was the problem? Too crowded? too many loudmouths? I live in NJ but am a transplant from VA:)

This will be our first time during Jersey week bc our son is starting kindergarten. It is only half day in our town, so I don't feel badly about pulling him for 2 days. ( 2 days off and a half day, which is really a quarter day for Kindergartners)

I was also wondering how long people are staying? We are doing Oct. 31 - November 6. Are some of you going for a long weekend?

It is pretty busy but not all the fault of New Jersey ! It's the last week of Food and Wine. Veteran's Day, elections, etc....there are more than a few reasons to pick this week.

We have been there quite a number of times. We always enjoy it, but think crowded and everyone has that "jersey" accent. Makes you feel a little bit out of place in some instances... My kids came back speaking that way one year!

It also seemed like it felt different depending on the resort. We noticed it more at BWV and BCV. OKW was relatively quiet and so was SSR, but then they are normally.

Having been there before during Jersey week I wouldn't say to worry about. Just understand that it is busier than the weeks on either side of it. We usually try to stay past Jersey week. That way we have half the vacation in the busy time and then enjoy the relative quiet after that.
