I saw a thread stating that the dates for Jersey week were 11/10 - 11/12. However, that isn't a full week, only the start of a weekend. Does it start on that weekend or end on that weekend? When do they arrive and fly home? We have been during Jersey Week in the past and the crowds weren't too bad. I am just wondering with Soap Weekend and it being the last weekend of F&W Festival if that might be a very busy weekend. Thanks!

I do not go that week but... They start the weekend before the days off. Teacher conventions are on Thursday and fri so everyone arrives Sat or Sunday before..Did that help?

This is correct. The convention is usually Thursday and Friday of "Jersey Week"- lots of Jersey schools schedule 1/2 days Monday- Wednesday, and they are for teacher/ parent conferences, mostly. So lots of NJ folks take the whole week off and head to WDW.

Expect a few Jersey Week-ers to start trickling in on Nov 5 and 6, with more and more arriving as the week goes on.

Plus, you'll have Veterens' Day folks, Super Soap Weekend folks, and locals coming out for the last weekend of Food & Wine at Epcot (Nov. 12- 13). Festival of the Masters at DTD might be starting that weekend, too! It will be busy!

We will be in Disneyworld November 5th thru the 9th.
Can we expect lots of crowds, or will it still be pretty quiet in the Parks?

Its always Thiursday and Fri, adn our school does not have 1/2 days that week. In the past they have had them. My kids are in 2 different county schools systems and neither have 1/2 days that week. Maybe it will not be as bad.. lol yea right.

I live in Illinois and we always have conferences that week and then Friday off. Could there possibly be other areas other than Jersey to have a long weekend?
