We just got back two weeks ago and hadn't planned another trip until 2005, but DH surprised me the other day and asked if I wanted to go back to WDW for an anniversary trip without the kids! Of course, he didn't have to ask twice, and I'm already off on another planning tangent... :)

We'd be going in early November, but I've read so much about Jersey week and Super Soap weekend and the crowds they bring in, that I'd like to avoid those dates if at all possible. Does anybody know when they'll be this year?

Sorry if this has been asked already, I've been so busy planning for our latest January trip that I never paid attention to the November posts ;)

Dates for the future NJEA Conventions:

2004 Thursday, November 4
Friday, November 5
Saturday, November 6

2005 Thursday, November 10
Friday, November 11
Saturday, November 12

2006 Thursday, November 9
Friday, November 10
Saturday, November 11

I'm not sure about Super Soap Weekend, but I think I read, somewhere on the boards, that it was the weekend after "Jersey Week" this year. Have fun!

:D

We've been there as Jersey Week was ending & Super Soaps was starting. We hadn't planned it intentionally. Honestly, with the exception of MGM over the weekend, it really wasn't too busy. It was also during the Veteran's Day holiday.

It is also during the Food & Wine Festival, which you might enjoy. You may want to do a BW resort at that time.

Enjoy!

Our first time was during "Jersey" week--b/c our kids are also out that Thrus and Friday for teachers convenetions. I have nothing to compare it too but I didnt think it was too bad. It was more crowded than I expected but certainly not bad. The weather was still very warm when we were there. If you can be flexible at all I would recommend the last week in Oct. I have had friends there at that time and said it was wonderful--or the week or two before the week of Thanksgiving

Super Soap is the weekend of Nov. the 12th 13th & 14th. "Jersey Week" is the week before. From what I understand it is always the week of Vet. day, so they have the enire week off. I dont expect it to be too bad this year (I'll be there too!!) because in the past all these events have coincided but this year it seems to be a bit more spread out and the Food and Wine Fest. has been extended 2 weeks. Knock yourself out!
