Thursday 27th May
As it was too late to sort out the villa, last night we just dumped our luggage and fell into bed. Woke up at 6ish and ideally we would've gone to Epcot early, but we had to hang around until 9am before we could ring the Management Co. Rang and yes, they had made an error in the allocation of our villa, but no, they didn't have any villas at Windsor Palms so would find us one elsewhere. There was one at Indian Creek but we would have to be back at 4pm to meet their Rep who would take us there.
It was now 10ish so we trundled off to Epcot, straight over to Mission Space which was awesome (not as bad as they make out) and we got a FP for TestTrack. Went to see HISTA and had a hotdog and then we drove back to meet the Rep.
He drove us around to our villa and we were very pleased, as it was HUGE - 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large pool and jacuzzi.
Now we could really start our holiday.
We unpacked and went back to Epcot to watch Illuminations, and we were not disappointed, they were excellent. We got a good view near USA and someone even let the kids sit on their bench.
Friday 28th May
Up early and off to Magic Kingdom. Went on Splash Mountain and BTMR before the crowds. Then off to see Mickeys Philarmagic (definitely my fave 3D in all the parks) Buzz Lightyear and we went to ToonTown for the kids to go in the houses. Managed to get a good spot for the parade about 5 mins before it was due to start and really enjoyed that. By now the crowds were immense and the FPs were all for about 7pm so were decided to go back for a swim and return for Wishes later on. As we drove back we got a take-out from the Outback Steakhouse and afterwards were too knackered to return. We would be able to fit it in another day.
Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th May
As it was Memorial Weekend we decided to give the parks a miss and spend these days relaxing and shopping. We went to Walmart and the Premium Outlets Mall. Bought too many pairs of trainers, as you do!! Had a meal at Jungle Jims and also went to see Shrek II at Downtown Disney cinema, not as good as Shrek I but still very funny.
