We took a short trip to Disney after seeing some family in the area. We stayed in the Boardwalk area and stopped at Jellyrolls. While I do enjoy the Boardwalk area for its nightlife, the cover charge for Jellyrolls went up to $15! While I think it's an entertaining place, especially if it's a resort day, but I think $15 is a bit much. I'd rather them maybe serve appetizers to make money rather than the cover charge. What does everyone think of this place?

We love it! The last time I went was nearly two years ago (January 2017) and the cover charge was $12. I don’t think 15 is that bad—you are paying for the entertainment and there is no drink minimum.
I remember paying $10+ cover charges for clubs more than 25 years ago!

When it comes to club cover charges it's lower than other destination areas up north. It does seem odd though to have Disney charge a cover for a single bar ( when you could get into Pleasure Island back in the day for 20.00 and have access to many bars ). I also agree that food ( more than baskets of popcorn ) would be welcome and could keep the cover charge lower. My only guess is, there is no true kitchen there.

We love JellyRolls! We really enjoy it on a weekday, weekends not so much. Weekends are super crowded, so we avoid going then.

I do not mind the cover charge as we really enjoy all the entertainment. They are fantastic!

We love Jellyrolls! (DW especially) and gladly fork over the cover charge. We are partial to Scotty and Rob but love all the entertainers. Not saying I wouldn’t take an appetizer or two but I think the minimalism of popcorn only gives it a bit of charm.
As for the value of the cover charge. We are usually pretty big tippers for our songs because we feel those guys deserve it- but there are plenty of people that either never request a song or are giving $1 for a song. The entertainers are really working their butts off and they need to make a living too!

I'd be in favor of food options there in general. I don't see that cover charge ever going away. The 5 or 6 times I've been in there, it always seems full.

Hi. During a weekday the beginning of September after Labor Day, what would be a good time to show up to get a seat/table. Thank you.

Somewhere between 8-9 will work. Any time after 930 or so and you might be risking sitting in the cheap seats. Naturally earlier in the week has less of a crowd.
