We have never been to JellyRolls. Besides drinks, can you get any food? Do they have appetizer type choices (wings, etc.), or is it only drinks. Thanks for any info.

Jellys is great fun, but there is no food and the drinks pretty much suck.
The good news is that since there is an $8.00 cover, there is no pressure to buy drinks. Soft drinks are @$2.50. Lots of people seem to drink bottled beer, tho I don't know the price. I asked for a chardonnay and got a cheap vino blanc about 2 oz for $6.00 (I think).

Jelly's really doesn't get rolling until after 10. The two sets of pianists and singers are talented and funny. Plan on staying around two hours at least.

Join the club. I think this place is a low attendance place. The Dance Hall is also empty apparently.

We just went last weekend and had a blast. Hadn't been in awhile and forgot how fun it was.

Scotty and Ray were the best. Does anyone know how you can check the schedules of who's working ahead of time? I want my son to go on his November visit but I want to make sure they see Scotty and Ray.

It's not much but they do have popcorn.

Jelly Rolls is a must do for DH and I. We go just about every trip to WDW. We always have a great time. We will be enjoying Jelly Rolls yet again in 4 weeks and 4 days!

As noted above, they only have popcorn for food...that is why they can continue to allow smoking.

I've been to Jellyrolls maybe about 10 times now and it is definitely not a low attendance place. I have to agree about the drinks though. The only time I have gotten a good mixed drink was when my friend was chatting with the bartender. I have learned to stick to beer when we go there.

I was just there a week and half ago and had a blast as usual. I'm looking forward to going back for the big Dis meet on 12/8! :cool1:

They allow smoking!?! :sad2: No Jellyrolls for me.

Turned us off to it as well. We were psyched about going there on our last trip and was surprised to find the place full of smoke.

One visit to the twin piano players was quite enough for us. We stopped there once upon an evening, and were enjoying the music until they began playing "Rocky Top."

Nice tune, but they were playing it just a few days from the time when the FSU Seminoles were scheduled to play Tennessee for the National Championship in football. When we (along with others at another table), began doing the Seminole Chop to the beat of the music (we were not screaming or yelling), the players quit playing and asked up to stop ...

One of the piano players said something to the effect that if we wanted to root for our team, we should go down the Boardwalk to the ESPN Club, where such behaviour is expected.

If those two idiots didn't want people to react to the playing of the Tennessee fight song, "Rocky Top," why the heck did they play it in the first place? Perhaps they were simply too stupid to know what was going on outside WDW. Dunno ...

No visit to that joint in the future from me or mine.

I hate smoke, but the fans suck up the smoke so fast that it doesn't bother me.

If you want a packed, insane night.... go on a Tuesday night. It's crazy by 8 or 9!

I go EVERY trip! I love it :dance3:

DH and I had a fun time the one evening we went to Jellyrolls, but the smoke was so bad the night we were there we did not last more than about an hour. Maybe we just hit it on a night when the ventilation fans were not working properly or something. The piano players were very talented!

We too love Jellyrolls. I did not realize that it still allowed smoking, but that is not a problem for me. Since almost every other place (if not ALL) are non-smoking, there are plenty of other places for the non-smokers. We found the dueling pianos to be a blast.
But do eat before, as others have said, popcorn is the only "snack". We have also always stuck to beer, so I can not comment on the mixed drinks.
I hope this helps others to plan on whether this is the right place for them.

Go with a big rowdy crowd. At the beginning of the night it's dead and the piano players won't play anything that they want to save for the big rowdy crowd.

Jellyrolls isn't owned by Disney and they don't accept Disney room key cards to pay for drinks.

I thought the popcorn was tasty!

Sorry if this is not posted in the correct place but I have a question for all you Jellyrolls experts----

does Jellyrolls serve any type of food or just drinks??

Jellyrolls only serves popcorn.

You can learn more and get some opinions of Jellyrolls at this thread from yesterday.

Ive never been to Jellyrolls - what is it like?
The floors and all the furniture is polished wood. The ceiling is metal. The walls are either polished wood or mirrors. The two performers are over-amplified and the pianos are concert grands and way too big for the size room. There are no breaks. When you would expect a break, a different pair of performers comes in so everything is continuous.

It is designed to be VERY LOUD. Conversation is not possible.

That's to bad for you. We were there in December and one of our friends requested the U of M fight song and Ray(from Michigan) played it with no problem. There was even alot of audience participation :cheer2: Susan
