DD22 will celebrate B-day in a couple weeks at EPCOT!:) Drinks around the World ! After she wants to go to Jellyrolls at BW with sister and boyfriends. Me and DW are heading back to OKW. What does she need to do to get back to the villa at OKW how many hours later ? Bus to..........???
Thanks all !

If I am not staying at the Boardwalk I will usually take a cab. If she stays until closing more than likely when she goes to the bus stop the bus will take her directly to OKW. A cab with tip would probably be under $20.00.

A bus to Downtown Disney then a bus to OKW. A cab would be quicker and easier.

I would definitely take a cab. She can get one at the front of the BWV. It's not very far to OKW and as a previous poster said it will likely be less than $20. Well worth it.

Thanks for your replies. Guess I never noticed the readily available cabs at Disney :scratchin Too busy going to whatever comes next I guess.

Cabs will be readily available. If not ask at the valet stand and one would be there shortly.

We always stay after midnight, then wait for a bus to DTD - in the past three times, the bus driver asked where we were going, we said OKW, he radioed in that he was taking guests directly to their resort, and off we went to OKW

I've gone to the bus stop at the BW around 11pm and almost always had a DTD bus driver take me directly back to OKW. Once I didn't feel like waiting for the bus and the taxi fare with tip was around $12.

HTH!!! :cool1:

That's awesome. That's Disney service for you. This is just one reason I go back over and over.:)

No bus will go resort to resort, regardless of time of day or night. A cab is the best bet that late at night.
You would have to check and see what time the buses stop running in and out of DTD for that specific date before she takes a bus there and changes to an OKW bus.

After 11pm (and sometimes before), I have boarded a DTD bus and the driver has asked me where I was headed. I told him the resort and was promptly driven there without having to go to DTD first. I have done this at least 5 or 6 times over the past few years and it's a service for the patrons leaving the Boardwalk restaurants and clubs like Jellyrolls.

As PP's have said, late at night when there aren't other passengers, the bus driver could just ask dispatch to take the guest to their resort (think about it, if there are no other passengers going to DTD, why waste a bus to go to DTD, just to have to send another bus to pick them up for their resort, it saves Disney Money).

But if they are leaving earlier or the bus can't take them to OKW, take the bus to DTD and then take the water shuttle back to OKW as an option as well.

Thanks, this is good to know for the future :thumbsup2
It doesn't seem to be a given though, correct?

I've had this happen for me as well but I could just pay the 10-12 bucks and take the cab. Much much easier/quicker/more comfortable.
