Hey do they serve food here...Munchies and the like...also what days are the best to go and how late are they open. I will be staying at the bwv and want to check this out as i love piano bars......The more crowd the better i say

I don't remember a menu or anything like that (but we were there to drink :drinking1 and sing and have a good time-which we did) but there were munchies, pretzel in a bowl, stuff like that. There could of been something you could order from the kitchen, I just don't remember it! :rolleyes1 The weekends are the most crowded :crowded: so you should get there by 9pm. Weekdays could also be crowded depending on the time of year you go. When we were there we closed the place down which was 2am  . There is a cover charge, I think I heard it's around $8.00 now. It really is alot of fun, not to be missed, especially if you like piano bars!! :jumping1:

The last time I was there, they didn't have food, just a popcorn machine on one side of the bar. As for crowds, I believe Tuesday, though it could be Wendsday, has a big crowd. They have 1 or 2 dollar mini Bud Light specials and everytime I went, the place didn't get crowded until after nine.

DH and I went to Jellyrolls for the very first time last week, and had a BLAST! Just want to verify that the cover charge is indeed $8 per person. :) We also did not notice any food at all, not even munchies, but we didn't ask about any. I saw the popcorn machine in the corner, but I don't think it was set up and making popcorn that night.

I went this past August on a Tuesday (if I remember correctly) and it was employee night; the place was packed. We had a great time. They were selling Miller ponies for $1 and ran out (that's how many people were there)! I can't wait to go back again. We got there around 9 and by 10 it was crowded. Give it a try, you will have alot of fun.

Isn't with Disney ?? Why the extra cover charge ??? $16 for me & hubby to get in and then cocktails, huh ?? Is It That Fun ??
Just curious.......is it worth the time?? Please fill me in
THANX :listen: :dog:

Its on Disney Property, but not owned by Disney, so they have a cover charge. There is no food served there, just popcorn. It gets really busy most nights. Since its mostly all tourists, I haven't noticed too much of a difference between week night and weekend crowds. Go early and get a table, after 10-10:30 the place starts to get packed.

Depends on what you consider fun. I love this place. My wife and I go several times each time we are at WDW. I've taken my parents, and friends there and everyone has loved it. IMO, its definitely worth checking out.

This place is always a must do for DH and I. We love it. You do have to be 21 to get in though.

Yes! Jellyrolls is really a blast! The atmposhere is just pure fun...There are comedian/piano players who will play your favorite songs, and everyone in the bar will sing along with you.

DH and I went twice on our last trip. Make plans to visit, you will not be disappointed. :)

I have never even considered going there. But, it sounds like a good-time place!
Thanks for the Info ! :goodvibes :teeth:

I always try to mention that since it isn't owned by Disney, they don't take room key charge cards from Disney resorts. Bring cash or your own credit card.

Not much else you can get for $8 inside WDW. It's a pretty good deal. The performers are of a pretty high caliber -- that's not a bad price for the entertainment. There's no drink minimum or antyhing.

To keep the Pat O'Brien's feel, they have a large blue colored drink that is in the hurricane style. It's very expensive, and I'm not entirely certain there is actually alcohol in it, although they say there is.

I agree, and I want to comment on the quality of the performers at Jellyrolls!

I LOVE the group "Queen" and I cringe whenever ANYONE tries to sing one of their classics, especially "Bohemian Rhapsody" because it requires such a wide range of vocal talent. However, last week while we were there I handed in a slip (the waitresses will give you napkins and a pen) to make a request that they sing either a Queen song or a Beatles song. (Not sure why I requested a Queen song since I've never heard anyone do their songs justice!).

Anyway, one of the singers/piano players sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" and he did an outstanding job of it. I was extremely impressed! They also did a Beatles song for me too! :teeth:

The $8 cover charge is well worth it. :)

Yes, Jellyrolls is well worth the cover charge! The piano players are fantastic! I'm amazed by the number of songs these guys know!

Oh, and to confirm, they only have popcorn at Jellyrolls.

If you see Scotty, tell him Karen from Boston sent you.

That is EXACTLY what I wrote on the note!! "Karen from Boston sent me! Can you please play something by Queen or the Beatles! Thanks!"

As you know from my conversation with him, you are very famous with him, Karen!! :teeth:

We just got back from Disney and spent Sat. night at Jellyrolls - our first time! We had a BLAST!

Definitely have no food ~ only popcorn.

Our waitress said pretty much the same thing about the blue drink. LOL

This was our first time - it was definitely worth it. We thought the same thing the trip before and didn't go ~ this time, after reading the Dis reviews, I was dying to try it out. I would definitely go again - really, really fun night!!!
