Jellyrolls at BW and smoking?

I read a post awhile back that said that Florida has ban smoking in resturants and public buildings is this true? Does this now mean that there is no smoking at Jellyrolls? I'm a non-smoker and plan on going but if it's smoky our visit will be shorter and i'd like to plan it for the first part of our trip as we will have a washer in our room and can do laundry to keep the smoky smell out of our suitcases. Thanks for your help.

The law states that any place that serves food has to be non-smoking. So if Jellyrolls serves any type of food-even appitizers; it will be non-smoking.
But if they just serve drinks then smoking is still allowed.

I know they were trying to pass a law that even in bars you couldn't be able to smoke but I'm not sure if this is in effect yet.

I believe the law actually states that if an establishment makes more than 10% of its income from food then it must be non-smoking. They do not serve any food except popcorn which is free so technically they do not have to go "smoke-free". WDW has decided that all of its restaurants/clubs will now be non-smoking, however Jellyrolls is not Disney owned and its owners have decided not to ban smoking.

That said, we are Jellyrolls lovers and try to go at least once on each WDW visit. I cannot stand smoke and have not had any problems. We tend to get a table right down by the stage so maybe that helps a bit.

I'd say go and give it a try but get there early to get a table down front.

Isn't it weird how different states are? Where I live, Fort Wayne, Indiana, a bar has to have 10% of their sales be food or they can not be open on Sunday. If you are a restaurant inside of the city limits, you're smoking room must be windowed off from the rest of the establishment. If you are outside of the city limits, you can do what you want. The only exception is bars and you must be strictly a bar. (here a bar can serve any food they want, but the building has to be listed as a bar with the city) Interesting question, thanks for bring it up!
