Hoping this is the best place for this post.

We're (DH 60, me 55) thinking of visiting jelly Rolls this Feb. Would love to hear people's reviews of this place, opinions, pics, etc..

Jellyrolls is great. We try to go there at least once each trip.

I went in 1997 for the first time and it left a very lasting impression. Finally, went back this past trip (October) and it was just as great. I'm 38, and don't drink, I sang until my throat was soar. It was a nice crowd (though, some did have a few too many) and the songs were so much fun to sing along with.

FYI: Just know that there is smoking allowed in the bar. This may or may not bother you. As an ex-smoker who normally is bothered by smoke, I didn't find it hard to handle at all.

Enjoy your trip.

I agree I went for the first time Jan 08. and it left a very memorable impression that I will have to make a trip each time now and started recommending friends go see it too.

Didn't it recently switch to entirely non-smoking? I thought I read this and we were going to try it out for the first time ever now that there would be no smoke! Can anyone confirm this?

Very cool. It wasn't when I was there in October. As I said before, it didn't bother me. And, the person that I was with, was smoking. They must have had good ventilation.

So there you go, now it's non-smoking.

If it's too crowded for you, hop over to POR and visit Bob in the lounge there, very simular show(except 1 piano player) and really funny.

I have heard of this Bob character for quite a few years, I think... What time does he start??

I am 59 and DH is 61 and we just love Jelly Rolls. If you like music and fun, then Jelly Rolls is the place for you! But try to get there early for a front row seat! You won't regret it!:)

Is it mostly an adult place? Would my 22 yr old brother enjoy it?

It's for ages 21 and up!
Cast members hang out there a lot and they're early 20s.
Everyone has fun there because the music is based
around what you request!
I loooooove Daniel's Mr. Brightside by the Killers :cool1:

Have fun!

does anyone know what happened that Jace, Christian and Pete have all recently left? :confused3
They were among my faves!

They were among my faves!

Pete's been gone for over 2 years now
You can find him at Howl at the Moon in Charlotte, NC

Jason and Christian are at http://www.jiveandwail.com/calendar.php

Piano men come and go,
but sadly these three had a lot of fans
(see my tag fairy tag  )

Good news though -
they still have great players and Daniel is the
new young guy with an insane voice :thumbsup2
Definitely worth checking out!

Have fun :cool1:

I was just at WDW marathon weekend with a bunch of girlfriends who were running. We went to Jellyrolls Thursday night and had a ball! It is such a great time. We had Tommy/Daniel and then Ray/Scotty. I adore Ray & Scotty. Everyone does a great job but they are my faves!

It is a great place -- very relaxed and fun! I sang until I was hoarse!
