I'm going to a potluck next Monday and thought I'd try a no bake cheesecake in the little individual cupcake papers (I bought silver foil papers and have I gold charger plate that I'll serve them on:thumbsup2). BTW, I've never used this product before so I have no idea about the results when the directions are actually followed.

Here is my whacky thought. What if I used light eggnog instead of milk in the cheesecake mixture to make it a little more Christmassy? Do you think that will work? :confused3

I bought a tin of Pepperidge Farm's Pirouette's (french vanilla) and I thought I'd break them in half and stick them in as a garnish.

Your thoughts and ideas are kindly requested! :goodvibes

I have made mini-cheesecakes a lot for church pot lucks - everyone loves them. What about putting mini-candy canes on top. . . . I dunno if the egg nog would allow it to set.

I've never used the Jello No Bake Cheesecake before. I've always made it from scratch and it's surprisingly simple... 2 Pkgs of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 eggs and a tsp. of vanilla and you're good to go. I've never used milk at all so I'm not sure what to say. Instead of the larger graham cracker crust, Keebler makes these cute little mini pie crusts. They come six to a package and two packages will accommodate any regular sized recipe. I make them whenever I think cutting a pie would be annoying. Personally though, I think that the crust is the awesome part of the cheesecake. :thumbsup2

Not sure on how to make it more festive, but maybe try adding in some mint flavoring?

I don't know about the eggnog, but I will say my friend made the no bake cheese cake and put them in the foil cupcake papers and they turned out bad, you could actually taste the foil, it was really obvious, we couldn't even finish them she threw them away, but she made some more with the regular paper cups and they were excellent!

Oh wow. Thanks for the heads up on the foil. I will be returning those and using the paper ones!

I don't think I'd substitute eggnog...doesn't that have added sugar?

The no-bake cheesecake is pretty sweet on its own, and it already has a distinct flavor. I can't imagine the eggnog mixing well with that.

You're right. It does have added sugar. So it probably would make it too sweet. I did like the candy cane suggestion.....maybe I'll try something along those lines. :)

I make the individual cheesecakes in the silver lining too and I use a Vanilla Wafer on the bottom as the crust. Its really yummy.

Look for the cupcake liners that have the foil on the outside and the paper liner on the inside. You still bake/let the item set in the ouble layer, just the paper liner makes it easier to peel off to eat! Have fun!

Another option would be to bake them in the paper & put the whole things in the foil cups for serving. I love your idea on the charger, sounds very pretty.

You can even buy a tub of no bake cheesecake filling now, with the cool whip in the refrigerator section. I saw it yesterday but have never tried it. If I am making one, I do the baked ones. But this looked easy!
