So I ran into a jehovah's witness today, and apparently on June 6th, everyone who isn't a jehovah's witness is going to die, and they are going to live. Reason? The date will be 666. Although technically it will be 6-6-06. But yeah, anyway, I bet them $100 that nothing is going to happen. I did this for two reasons...

1) Nothing is going to happen.
2) Even if something does happen and I die, I can't pay them anyway.

So yeah, dust off all that duck tape you bought when the terrorists where going to dirty bomb us, and dig up that bomb shelter your parents built in the Y2K scare, because the end of the world is coming....again.

Y2k. Ah memories. Computers callenders were only made to go to the year 1999. People thought that at the year 2000 (y2k) that pcs would revert to their original state with year 0 or 1. and everything would be lost and the world's economy would crash and burn and everything would turn to utter chaos. well every sane person got the patches and fixed it. Most computers could even install the updates themselves.

Another thing people were worried about were the militaries computers. They were worried about them going all heywire and launching Nukes. Hence WW3.
