Always amusing honey! :)

You're doing so well, and I"m proud of you....remember though, this isn't ONLY about you going to DISNEY, it's about you changing your life and eating habits for the better, and as a result getting a whole new outlook on life, as well as a new body to boot, not bad hey? :flower:

Welcome! Can't wait to read the Saga of the belly! Maybe you should try an eating plan. If you go hungry, you'll want to binge. Fill yourself with veggies and read myhandd and Stego's journals. You can do this!

Welcome! I'm proud that you are beginning this journey. I wish my DH would. At almost 47 he has decided that it is impossible to lose any weight. He bought Beach BOdy last fall and thought that I should be responsible for planning his meals, controlling his eating and that in 6 weeks he would be all done. You are great for taking charge of your life. Your wife and kids will thank you for it. My 13 yo DD actually talks to me about her worries that her dad won't be around by the time she is ready to be married. Very sad!

Kudos to you !!

WELCOME JEFF!!

I'm glad that you and Jen decided to join WISH and create a healthier lifestyle for your family. You'll find this board is very useful in helping with ideas and motivation. We all know what it feels like to have pounds to lose.

Your first post sounds very similiar to one of my reasons for joining. I found some turnstiles and rides at WDW to be a bit snug (some I didn't even do) and I'm tired of having to sit things out because of my weight.

WISH has been a great help to me and I'm sure it will be to you and your wife.

Again, WELCOME!!

well here was all of the goodies I had to eat today.....breakfast- a breakfast cassarole(egg product. fat free sausage, cheese) for dinner- fresh fish (right out of the lake) baked potato and fat free ice cream and lunch...chicken breast (with onion and cheese)....oh yeah I forgot yesterday I... also had a banana..... not hungry right now (good thing huh?) hey only 18 days till we'll be Florida bound.... hope to shed some of this belly by then.....but all of it by the time we go back in December

Jeff

LOVE YOU HONEY...

congrats on the 3 more pound loss...that's 9 total :D

Jen

Congrats Jeff! MOTIVATION, MOTIVATION, MOTIVATION!

You and your wife seem to be a wonderful support system for each other. That is great. It helps to have someone there with you to push and pull when needed.

Keep up the good work!! :Pinkbounc

You are doing great! Wish I could get my DH to get on the wagon!

Keep it up! The benefits are likely beyond your imagination!!

hey lost 1/2 pound today (should I weigh everyday)...oh well I did

anyway here was what I had today
breakfast....bowl of cereal (honey bunches of oats with strawberries)..well not as good as fruit loops

lunch...thin sandwich ( 2 pieces of see through ham and some mustard)...well it was not subway...but I still ate fresh

dinner...taco chicken (Jen made it home from work so I had a good dinner) ...thank you so much honey!!!

so go belly go!!!!!! far far away!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats, Jeff! Keep up the awesome work! Find something to inspire yourself everyday. I am so glad you and Jen have each other. I have been reading her posts and thinking what a sweetie she seems. Wouldn't it be great if we all lived in close proximity so we could inspire each other to walk and we could meal-share?
I am so glad you are seeing progress. But remember, there is progress even if the scale doesn't show it! You are going to feel so much better on this trip to WDW knowing you have taken control of your life, and looking forward to your December trip when you will feel and look even better!
Keep up the great work!

You're doing great!!   Keep up the great work . . . . and the humor.

You know, Subway is actually one of my favorite "diet" places to eat. pirate:

Hi Jeff...welcome to the wonderful world of...weight loss! Yee haw!
I see you're on that pink cloud. Ha, ha! Come on, get honest. We all know
you're irritable and discontent! Maybe you're just riding on that wave of "shock"...
that's the way it was for me that first month: TOTAL SHOCK. Yes, losing 20 lbs. felt great. But more so I was NOT fun to be around. Learning ACCOUNTABILITY was a major obstacle. That's why I sought out professional help (that's what I call WW). Of course, like most folks, I wanted the results right away. Soon figured out that WASN'T healthy. I made mistakes. Most folks do, I found out. That's what we shared about in our weekly meetings.
After that first month, I figured out what I really wanted: to run again. Now, I don't run every day, but I can run. Some days farther and faster. But it took a while to build up. I had to go slowly. My body also limited me (thank god!). I have this tendency to be "obsessive". I will say this: MY RESULTS ARE NOT NORMAL. Losing over 95 lbs. in 14 1/2 months is NOT NORMAL. Yes,
that's NOT a typo. I rode a high of buying new clothes: just now, bought some new pairs of pants for work AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, I have SUCH problems! I had no idea of going from a 44 waist to a 32. I learned with my wife that we could draw on each other's strengths. Food became a fuel: a source of energy for my afterwork/weekend activity. I learned through trial and error about lifestyle changes. I also learned that it affected me mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc. Physically was probably the easiest. I am STILL learning how to grow up...

Hello, there Gator Guy!! Keep up the AWESOME work but don't weigh yourself everyday! Can I switch you metabolisms? :rotfl2:

To the tune of Disco Inferno
:cheer2: "Go belly go!
Go belly go!
Far far away!
Far far away!" :cheer2:

I second TigerCheer's wish - I'd like to trade metabolisms, too!

You're doing awesome.

I'm a compulsive weigher - better than a compulsive eater I guess - so I understand the need to get on the scale. Some days it's really hard.

Keep it up, you're doing great!

hello from the gator guy......walked another mile today (my legs hurt)...well if you wondered to yourself..."uh I wonder what gator guy ate today?"....well here it is no need to worry anymore

breakfast....milk

lunch.........salad with a little chicken breast on it

dinner........chicken (with onion on it and a little cheese) along with some rice

oh yeah lots of water

hey only 15 more days till we leave for Florida (does Mickey like fat guys?)

I have a hard time fighting that scale temptation but most of the time manage to limit myself to once a week. It's not easy though.

Those walks will get easier for you! They have for me. And.........bonus, they will make you even more prepared for the massive Disney walking you will do. Of course, its much easier to walk for the mouse.

You are doing such a great job! I'm impressed. Keep up this pace and you'll be feeling and looking great in no time.
