Jedi Training Photopass question

I have searched for the answer, have come up short, and hope you can help!

We were at the Studios last week, and my son was chosen to participate in the Jedi Training Academy. I got decent pics, but there was a photopass photog up front taking pictures of all of the kids. He said there was information on the "diploma" that they were given at the end, but there was no information. I was hoping to see if someone knows how to view those pics?

When we went I remember the photopass person saying you can go to the photo place at the front of the park to get the pics they took onto your photopass. But, I think it had to be the same day.

ETA: Maybe you can call the number & give them the day, the place & approximate time & they can search for you & send you the number to enter on your pass? Good Luck!

Yes, when we went last year the Photpass guy told us after the Jedi show to go to the Photo store on the left side of the street near the park exit. You give them the date/time of the show your child was in and they will pull up all the photos. Tell them which ones are yours and they will enter your photopass card number and add those photos to your account. We got some great photos that way. Hopefully, they will still have them available, as long as you know the date and time of the show. Good Luck!

My six-year-old is a big Star Wars fan - does anyone have any tips for getting him selected to participate in the Jedi Training?

we were there last week and had to go by the photo store and load the photopass pictures on our card. Advice on how to get picked - I had our 3 year old on my shoulders and my husband had the 6 year old. We were jumping up and down with the kids on our shoulders and they were waving hats and bandanas. We were in the middle in the front. The photopass guy even took a picture of us. It worked last year during star wars weekend also.

My tip is to avoid this show like the plague. IMO kids are so disappointed when they don't get chosen and you have to be outrageous to be chosen! (See post about kids on parents' shoulders and parents jumping up & down!)

Thanks for the replies. I will try to call, but am not holding my breath. They don't have the storage to keep all those pics forever (or even a couple of weeks). I really did get pretty good pictures (and hysterical video!)

RE: tips to get picked

1. be the older sister of a little boy whose only wish for his birthday was to get picked for jedi training (yes really, with no trying at all my DD got picked right off the bat, very first thing*sigh* we went to 6 more shows before DS got picked)

2. wear a Star Wars shirt of some kind. About 90% of the kids will be wearing Star Wars shirts, so maybe the odds are just stacked that way...

3. Get there 20 or more minutes early and stand at the front. They pick kids from all around the stage, so position isn't as important as being up front.

4. I saw 1 kid with a sign (something about pick me the force etc etc). That kid got picked. (I would have totally made a sign, if I had to go back to the Studios to get DS picked!)

5. They pick at least one little kid per show (3 or 4 year old). It is part of the show -- always showing them how to activate the light saber, telling them not to fall off the stage "no one likes a clumsy jedi"

6. most kids are in the 7 to 10 year old range. I think my son (turned 5 that day) was too old to be the young kid, but not as big as they like to see. I believe that by the 7th show, the jedi master took pity on me, and finally picked my son (last show of the day, last kid picked). It made our week!

7. They seemed to pick kids wearing their own jedi robes ("ah, I see we go to the same tailor") Coincidentally, they sell little jedi robes with Mickey ears on the hood - very cute, around $40 (IIRC) - we did not buy one of those

8. They pick about 16 kids. There will be at least 60 standing at the front waving. It is sad to not be picked.

FINALLY, and this is important -- the Photopass photographer that takes the pics of the kids on stage, takes pictures immediately before and after the Jedi Training Academy, right there by the stage, and they put DARTH VADER in the picture with you(you are in a light saber duel with him). IT IS VERY COOL. Some of my favorite Photopass pictures right there.
