What would we be best doing. Getting at Jedi Training sign up at RD or getting to a Disney dressed up Star Wars Character at RD. How long will the lines be for the Disney dressed up Star Wars characters after we get through the line for Jedi Traing sign up? COuld one of us stand in line for the Character while the other stand in line with the kids for Jedi Training and then when we are done signing up join the other parent in line for the Disney dressed up Star Wars character?

If you want to do Jedi Training, you HAVE to be there at rope drop.

The characters will be there all day, and don't start until around 9-ish. Some have longer lines than others, like Darth Vader. Check the 2014 SWW thread for more information. Many of the characters swap out with others during the day.

I would have to assume the lines would be shorter in the am. Will lines for the characters be well started before the 9:00 start time? How long would you supose the line would be for a character like Vader after we arranged our Jedi Training show? Also is trying to get to the Jedi Training at RD worth it? Will we have a good chance of getting in or will we have wasted time getting there and have a strong chance of not getting a spot. We can not run due to having older people in our group. They can walk fast but running would not be an option.

Just have one parent take the kids to the Jedi sign-ups that will be at the Indiana Jones theater. The rest of the group can make their way over to a character line.

If your kids haven't watched JTA before, here is a video. You may want to make sure they want to do this before you go to DHS. Many kids get signed up because it was their parents' idea and then they don't participate once onstage.

Thinking that may be the way to go. Is it frowned upon if I and the kids join the rest of our group that will be lined up for the character line?

The kids at this time want to do this. As long as we get to the park an 45 minutes to an hour before RD will we have a good chance of getting th boys in one of the Jedi Training shows?

You should be able to if you head straight to sign-ups. Each session will have two groups (total of 30 kids) and sessions will be held every 30 minutes.

Great! That helps me feel a little more relaxed.
