Jedi training, need magic band?

When you go to sign up for jedi training, do you need the magic band?
Are they scanning magic band to hold place for jedi training or are they still doing it the old way?

A MagicBand is not needed because all guests are not required to have them. Sign-ups remain as they've always been.
