Hubby and I are going to HS and have no kids, wondering if its worth sticking around to watch the jedi training academy if we don't have kids.

Is it just watching a bunch of kids fight Star Wars characters or is there more? I would youtube it but I don't want to spoil it for myself if its a fun show.

If you are a SW fan and have watched the Rebels cartoon on Disney XD you will enjoy it, it's also cute to see how each kid reacts to the villains. If you're not much into SW it might be a pass

I think that the Jedi Academy show is worth seeing especially if you love Star Wars. There's a story around it. You can always swing by and start watching it and if it doesn't appeal to you just leave.

Hmmm, it might be a moot point since it doesn't even look like its happening the week that I'm there (Nov 13 to 19).
It seems like a lot of Star Wars stuff stops after Nov 12..... or do you think it'll get added to the schedule later? I know the Star Wars fireworks is replaced with the Jingle JAM thing, but even the Jedi Training and Star Wars A Galaxy Far Far Away is also not scheduled....

Odds are it will be added later. It's only been stopped once in recent years, and that was to switch it to its current form. It's worth watching, at least the beginning. As long as you don't care about being up front you can arrive just minutes before it starts and see fine. If you get bored, you can easily leave if you're towards the back and not much time will have been wasted.

My husband thinks the show is hilarious and it has become a family tradition to watch a few shows each time we are in HS.

It's cute and if I have some time to kill I will watch it. It's hard to get a good spot though- I don't want to block parents from seeing their kids.

They've been updating the entertainment schedule only a week at a time

Thanks everyone for the advice. I will squeeze it into my schedule :)

And thanks yulilin, I was really worried that there was going to be nothing star wars for my week there.

DH and I enjoyed watching it before we had kids. It is even better now that our DD participates.

We've seen the Training Academy once - when our then five year old grandson was in it. But watching the other kids in it with him was a lot of fun so if you've never seen it, go and do it. For example, our grandson was the smallest kid there (his parents are height challenged so he's not going to be playing basketball very well) and the instructor kept referring to him as "the hobbit" which all the kids and the audience found funny. The instructor really relate to each child and when you see the faces of the kids at the end, you will know you haven't wasted your time.
